MoneyWalk 392 Teaching Kids To Properly Manage

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Many children are taught to believe pursuits other than faith in and intimacy with Jesus Christ are more important for their lives because their parent’s daily activities deceive them into thinking it is acceptable to spend little or no time in fellowship with Jesus Christ, the Church, and other believers. Also, emphasis on being successful in life is usually couched in the need for higher education in universities or finding a highly-paid niche via the professional music, acting, entertaining, or sports industries.

Most of the present-day boards and CEO’s facilitating these options have absolutely no focus on glorifying the LORD in what they do and how they do it. Even when they will market gospel products and services, the main driver that determines what they will do is how much profit they believe they can make with it. Often, even when profit has been good they will kill a good product or service when human sentiment from customers and naysayers do not like a person they were using who delivered a message of righteousness based on biblical morals during a speaking engagement or media interview that is not related to the product they endorse for the company. This has happened in many instance when the person described what the LORD via the bible shows are sexually immoral practices and lifestyles.

Many parents either agree with this handcuffing of godly voices in society or simply provide no voice to let their kids know they should believe, live, and speak the LORD’s standards regardless of what others around them have to say and that they should be willing to suffer (if need be) in living His way because it puts them on the narrow road of salvation leading to eternal life of which Jesus Christ spoke. Tragically, this same parental apathy exists in stewardship of money and resources the LORD entrusts to them. Again, they present a terrible example to the children and to their onlooking friends.

For sure, we must live in the world, but we are instructed to not be of the world. In other words, even as we go about getting training, higher education, and mastery in vocational fields we must not do so in ways that lead us and our children away from the LORD’s standards and will for our / their lives. We must be ever vigilant to pray and ask His guidance about our children’s purpose in this life and show them how to do the same and to live according to His will overall and per His instruction when He speaks specifically to them.

Failing to example this pattern for children or allowing them to think those around them who appear to have lots of money, power, and/or fame automatically do everything the right way or that it does not matter what one does as long as it results in them being happy will entice them to live out many bad patterns that seem fun for a short time but will in the long run be hurting instead of helping them. In the financial arena, such mindsets lead them to constantly borrow money to try and get all the material comforts they desire, which will make them slaves to debt and creditors and ensure financial struggles throughout their lives even when they are able to achieve high incomes and lives full of material pleasure.

They should be taught as early as possible to (1) work for employers and via entrepreneurial endeavors, (2) tithe & give offerings, (3) budget, (4) save, (5) not borrow money but instead save to get what they want, (6) not cosign for other people, (7) invest in equities, and (8) diversify their savings and investments. This will not happen when you are not focused on pursuing God’s will for your life. Your children are more likely to follow what you do rather than what you say, so make sure your lifestyle and examples line up with biblical standards for good stewardship because it is the only lifestyle that glorifies the LORD and leads to true fruitfulness, reward, and prosperity.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 391 Education Is A Good Tool But A Poor God

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

There are types of education that are good and tend to raise income and opportunities to be selected for higher level positions within organizations for which one works. However, there are also types of education for which the cost outweighs the benefit that will be received. You never want to pursue the second type or remain stagnant in life because you never pursue education that helps broaden your understanding and skills. Yet, in pursuing the first type, you could better your comfort on earth, but lose your soul because you made education (and what it could do for you) your god throughout your life instead of putting it in its rightful place of submission to the LORD and to you to serve His will in all you do.

Progressively over the past few hundred years, many people who have pursued a lot of formal education believe they have become smarter than the LORD, and even worse, some after getting it, believe He does not exist and thus have become gods and idols unto themselves. We’re seeing the effects of this in many of the deceitful, heinous, hurtful things people are saying and doing to one another today as well as the immoral lifestyles many are living in rebellion against His moral code, and in living in a national financial house that is ready to implode because we have forsaken the LORD’s instructions for good stewardship.

As we make training, certificates, and degrees our god instead of our servant, the educational industrial complex is taking up a more unbearable amount of student’s income each year to the point that when many of them graduate they have so much debt that they are barely able to afford necessities and build wealth in the way the LORD intends for their lives. Let’s be clear, education that is not directed by the LORD for your life is not the great economic equalizer and pathway to success and fulfillment that many claim it to be. It is possible many will have more trappings in life once they obtain it, but it is not at all certain they will have peace, joy, and fulfillment as a result.

No doubt, study to show yourself approved, a worker that need not be ashamed, who rightly divides the word of truth. However, at all stages of your life ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into and through education (formal and informal) that fits the LORD’s purpose and plan for you. Having your heart and mind centered on the purpose and priority of the LORD almighty has always been and always will be essential to being truly successful and fulfilled and ensures you will reach the earthly and eternal destiny for which He truly designed you.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 390 The Only Way To Be Truly Successful

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Salvation is the greatest biblical reward and it results in true and eternal net-worth. Such success can be described as salvation equals faith in Jesus Christ as Savior & LORD with His perfect righteousness covering you so you are not condemned to everlasting doom based on your old sinful nature when you stand before Father God. You also have the extraordinary benefit of the Holy Spirit living within you to direct your path in every way pleasing to the Father and the Son. Isn’t it great to know the triune God and LORD of all things envelops you and deeply cares about your success eternally and in this earthly realm.

Believing in Jesus Christ is the only way to a heavenly home and great worth that God desires for you. All other endeavors, resources, and assets pale in comparison because you gain nothing by possessing riches, power, and prestige or by occupying a lowly place on this earth if you lose your soul because you failed to have faith in Jesus Christ the eternal source of all righteousness and holiness.

To truly prosper on earth as in Heaven you must crucify the old sinful nature, otherwise Satan will tempt you to use it to destroy your earthly and eternal worth through a continual lifestyle of sin while convincing you that what you’re doing is alright because (a) the LORD wants you to have the freedom to enjoy yourself doing whatever you think is right without regard to what the bible has to say about it and/or (b) you believe you could not have built wealth, affluence, influence, or power on earth without being acceptable to God.

Whether poor, middle income, or rich, satan will try to convince you that you do not need the LORD and definitely should not follow His instruction. However, the bible shows us that on earth God in some ways blesses the just and unjust alike, however it also emphatically shows you cannot take earthly wealth with you when you leave this earth and only what you do for Christ will last. Therefore, no one and nothing but Jesus Christ by faith in Him will justify you and lead to eternal life, joy, and peace when you stand before God in the final judgment. For as long as you live on earth, and no matter what grievous sins you’ve committed, you can be redeemed to experience eternal and earthly success by following God’s formula instead of your own.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 389 In Christ, You Have It All

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Jesus said abundant life cannot be measured by what you own and that it profits you nothing to gain the world but lose your soul. Therefore, your first priority should be to assure salvation unto eternal life by faithfully confessing that Jesus Christ is your Savior and LORD. Secondly, you should seek to become a good steward because you now recognize that God owns everything (including every piece of income and asset you have or will ever get) and has entrusted a portion of His endless estate to you.

Only then will you recognize and highly regard the bible and its instructions that help you, in a righteous manner, earn, utilize, and multiply money. Your vision will change so you no longer consider people with lots of money to be rich and those with little money to be poor. Nor will you think those who are poor are righteous while those who are rich are automatically unrighteous because they must have done something underhanded to get that much.

You’ll no longer think a person is acceptable to God only when he becomes a high wage earner or someone of worldly importance with enormous material income and/or assets. Nor will you think a person currently living on welfare is a have-not who cannot be acceptable to God because he has not amassed worldly riches and at times may appear to barely get by. You will cease to ridicule people because they are not keeping up with the Joneses in appearance and style. In fact, you’ll start to respect and treat them as well as you treat people who have lots of money because you are now seeing with godly eyesight. Rich and poor alike will be seen as made in God’s image and thus worthy of acceptance and fellowship as well as evangelism and discipleship as necessary.

Your re-birth in Christ will help you see your own potential and the potential in everyone else and lead you to encourage rich and poor alike to become good stewards of their lives, current income, and assets in order to multiply them so each of you can provide for your household in a god-pleasing manner and increasingly and abundantly fund gospel ministry through the Church as well as your own special calling when God identifies it. This faith-filled state of mind and action is the only lifestyle that truly provides everything each one needs as well as many good things desired and will be the only life plan that truly fulfills you.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 388 The LORD’s Order Blesses You

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

The book of Revelation shows that satan will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone with every angel who chooses to follow him into evil by leaving Heaven and with every man who, while upon the Earth, refused to accept redemption by Jesus Christ. If you do not accept Christ’s offer of salvation, satan will succeed in keeping you from the blessing of eternal life and from the earthly blessing and rewards given to believers who love and follow Christ’s commands.

These commands imparted to believers by the Holy Spirit who lives in them tell us how to walk our lives out in the way pleasing to the LORD. A part of this encompasses money management (including work, earning, giving, and expensing) as this is a key area in which satan attempts to control people’s lives by corrupting the way in which their hearts (priorities set by ungodly desires), minds (attitudes establish by pride), and bodies (physical activities engaging lusts) lead them to pursue and expend the manifold monetary resources the LORD entrusts to them throughout their lives.

Understand that satan wants to steal your affection from God by tempting you to doubt salvation in Christ. Secondly, he wants to eliminate your usefulness to God by tempting you to spend so much time fulfilling material desires that you have no time or inclination to spend with the LORD, fellowship with the Church (His body), or spread the gospel. Just as God has shown mankind principles for experiencing abundant and eternally significant lives, satan imparts principles that subtly and insidiously destroy our lives. He knows that the LORD loves us and hurts when we choose to follow satanic pathways instead of choosing to live in His love, abundance, and eternal life.

You are in a spiritual battle whether you want to realize it or not and satan is automatically winning when you do not realize it. Those who realize it understand they were created to by grace through faith thank, praise, and worship the LORD and obey the commands of the Holy Spirit according to the perfect law of liberty, which is to love the LORD with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength and to love their neighbors as themselves so much that they intimately desire to fulfill the purpose for which He created them by living according to the fruit of the spirit and evangelizing unbelievers and making disciples of believers. When such love is in your heart, your life of faith will produce good works that glorify the LORD, bring good will to other people, and cause you to experience inner peace and joy no matter what the atmosphere and people around you are experiencing.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 387 Your Giving Is Profitable

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Even during emergencies and catastrophes, when others are scrimping due to over-indebtedness, believers should be abundantly funding ministry work, eliminating debts, fulfilling their purpose, reaching their destiny, and showing others how to attain and enjoy what the LORD so richly prepared for us.

The widow of Zarephath and her son were going to die of starvation after eating the very last meal they had. But, she met Elijah the Prophet who gave her instruction. Due to her obedience in doing what she could not see in the natural as positive help, the LORD miraculously turned her little bit of flour and oil into enough resources to carry them through a lengthy famine.

Likewise, Elisha’s student, who abruptly died, put his sons in the position to be indentured slaves and his widow to be destitute, until they could pay off their deceased father & husband’s creditors. Again, obedience in following the prophet's instruction (by faith not sight) turned the widow’s little bit of oil into enough money and resources to free her sons and have plenty of food and necessities thereafter. She miraculously kept filling pots with oil until there were no more and then sold all the oil for a handsome sum of money with which she paid off her family’s debt and eliminated the financial bondage they had endured.

In the same way, God created you with the ability to obey Him, give abundantly to fund the gospel, and serve other people toward their best interest. When you display such an obedient and giving heart, He makes sure you have more than enough to make life fruitful and fulfilling during up and down economic cycles. Giving of your time, money, and resources may seem inconsequential at the time you’re doing it, especially when you're currently experiencing obstacles and problems. However, it will be life preserving and lead to opportunities for increased income, fruitfulness, and a profitable life as you move forward into your future on earth and eternity.

With all your heart, mind, and strength you must forge ahead based on biblical instruction and the LORD will provide more than enough to care for all your need and many things you desire and will also help you be a blessing to other people.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 386 He Is LORD Of All Things Including Money

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Scripture says the LORD created everything and owns all of it! However, He gave man dominion over all that He made with the instruction to use it to do His will so that man would be fruitful in everything he put his heart, mind, and hands into. Truly, everywhere any person that trusts Him goes is holy ground and everything at which he works, in accordance with His will, would prosper.

Whether you’re rich or poor, make Christ the first person you desire to honor when you receive income and assets of any kind. Many people have accepted the notion that if they call themselves Christians and thus accept themselves as saved / born again then Jesus is automatically LORD of their lives. Yet, they willfully withhold abundant, proportionate giving from the Church / Christ’s body but do not fail to spend on themselves, to get their material desires, approximately 100% of income and assets above what must be spent on basic needs (a minimal level of rent, food, and clothing).

If He is truly LORD of your life, then His lordship must include money you receive. Otherwise, you live like immoral ungodly people around you caring nothing about the purpose for which you were created: to worship Him with all your life and activities, to evangelize unbelievers so they may come to know Jesus Christ, and to make disciples of other people in order to encourage and motivate them to draw ever closer to Him.

Though unbelievers may do many good-natured things during their time on earth, the LORD on Judgment Day will not impressed with their riches, poverty, assets, titles, or societal status. Nor is He impressed with those things he also allows Christian to attain. His most wise status, divine will, and almighty power set the parameters for acceptable human attitudes and activities and consequences for non-compliance even though He gave us free-will. He will make sure a person receives the eternal damnation he / she chooses when he / she fails to trust Jesus Christ as Savior before death. He also allows a person to suffer the needless shame he / she bears during life on earth and sometimes into eternity when he / she refuses to align their actions with His known will per scripture. Of course, His desire and death on the cross, resurrection, and life-giving bible seek to help us avoid these consequences by drawing close to Him and the love He poured out for us to redeem us from wrath.

He hurts when you do not use an abundant portion of money entrusted to you to spread the name of Jesus Christ to other people and disciple them so they can know how to, using their free-will, have a heart changing relationship with Him that will cause them to be pleasing to Him and be fruitful to the utmost by faithfully and consistently serving according to His will in their home, Church, neighborhood, workplace, and marketplace.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 385 Employ Holy Spirit Led Goals

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

The Holy Spirit helps you overcome every obstacle that stands in the way to doing what Father God wants. In order to continually invite His presence and wisdom into your life, you must regularly engage worship by giving Him thanks & praise, reading scripture, praying daily, fellowshipping with other believers, serving in the local church and via your vocation in order to help other people and make disciples of them, and by regularly introducing other people to Jesus Christ by sharing your testimony of His saving grace.

You should also write down actions you will take to accomplish particular pursuits that will build you up in the most holy faith of our LORD and help you continually mature along His path for you, such as:

• Graduate from spiritual authority class at your local bible-believing Church that will teach you that submission, agreement, and obedience are not the same thing but are intimately connected to help you align with your Church elders to pursue and achieve the vision, goals, and objectives the LORD set for your Church. This also helps you learn how to please Him and serve honorably as you work in staff, management, and leadership roles in your vocation among citizens of this world.

• Graduate from a biblically-based leadership course to help you build on the elementary principles of Christ so you can move on from drinking the milk of the Word to eating the meat of the Word.

• Employ biblical-based financial empowerment disciplines so you are a good steward of the manifold blessings the LORD gives you and allows you to obtain throughout life. The disciplines begin with tithing and offering to the Church and also include budgeting in order to achieve debt-free living, no cosigning, emergency fund and special project saving, and investing and diversification for building wealth and maintaining it.

• Helping out in a few ministries at a time so the Holy Spirit can mold you and show you during a number of years of faithful service the main ministry and/or vocational mission field the Father purposed for you at creation.

You can write such goals to be specific, measurable, attainable with His help, realistic though a stretch beyond where you are currently, and with a future time at which you hope to achieve the them as the LORD wills. This can help you achieve His vision for your life which is the desire of your heart. It will also ensure that you use the bulk of resources received through any ministry and vocational endeavors to advance the gospel, care properly for your family and local Church, and help many other people.

The ultimate goal of your life and activities should be to glorify the LORD, educate and encourage Christians, and lead unbelievers to a relationship with Jesus Christ regardless of the field you choose to work in. You’ll need to be flexible along the way because every step will not work out the way you first penned it, yet God will continually re-focus your vision, purify and modify your steps, close doors when needed, and open other doors that help you. If you do not write down the vision and goals it is highly likely you will never fully pursue the pathway He has in mind and which is ultimately best for your life.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 384 Let The Holy Spirit Make You Smart

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

You must learn biblical financial principles to know how to honor God with your finances. By grace through faith you are able to learn His Word and follow the Holy Spirit’s guidance in order to complete the purpose and plan He gave your life when He made you. The result of adhering to His instruction versus the world’s instruction is you will be fruitful in your short life on earth and will be reward throughout eternity by diligently putting your life into employments that please Him.

Though some unbelievers seem to prosper greatly because they are cunning in looking out for what they believe to be in their best interest on earth, you should never be envious of all the money, resources, and other temporal things they have or may one day get nor should you fret evil aimed at you and other believers because God’s unmerited favor and power to make His plan come to pass is bestowed upon those who trust and obey Him.

Never make pursuit of earthly riches your primary aim or else you will be selfish toward the LORD by failing to honor Him first with your life and an abundant portion of the substance and increase bestowed on you, which is only the result of Him allowing you to be in such a position. Rather, let Him bless and reward you as a result of pursuing intimacy with Him as your highest priority, finding out through fellowship with Him the purpose for your life, and things He wants you to do in order to employ it and reach the destiny He designed for you.

Intimacy with the Holy Spirit motivates you to follow His instruction and this in turn brings blessing and reward into your life and eternity. You cannot earn salvation for this is freely given to all who repent of sin and put their trust in Jesus Christ. However, His favor overtakes the lives of those who advance His kingdom in the marketplace of life (family, friends, neighborhood, workplace, community, nation, world, etc.) by moral, evangelistic, disciple-making communication with others and Christ-like lifestyles before them, including having the proper attitude toward and handling of money and resources entrusted to you. This is the only pathway that makes you truly smart.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 383 Relationship Saves, Not Tradition

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Peace, joy, and rewards God promised on earth apply to people who have accepted Jesus as Savior and LORD. In addition, relationship with God in Christ is the only condition that qualifies you to receive eternal life. Such is not shown or verified by earning millions, inheriting millions, having the best material things on earth, living in fine homes, or any other natural condition from poverty to riches. Living in paradise now and forevermore comes only from relationship with Jesus Christ and cannot be manifest in your heart and life by any other means.

A failure to initiate fellowship to have an intimate connection with Him will let sorrow, worry, and apathy overcome you and derail progress during trials life will inevitably bring your way. Or it will allow pride and arrogance to overtake you because you will be confused about the fact that He is one who allowed you the ability to care for yourself and reach higher levels in life. You will react in pride thinking that it is solely the work of your hands that produced the earthly abundance you are experiencing in life.

If you answer the question, “Are you saved or born again?” with a response like “I’m Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal or I go to _____ church,” then it’s likely tradition is your priority, not relationship. Even though you might regularly attend Church services, you may be living by tradition, not in an intimate relationship with Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to check your heart to ensure you meet the biblical standard for being saved, which is repentance from dead works through faith in Christ, so you can enthusiastically say “I am saved by Christ” knowing you meet the standard no matter the local Church, denomination, or fellowship you are currently part of.

Beware that Church going traditions and religious sounding titles will not save you, give the LORD glory, or grant you eternal life in Paradise after you die on earth. Only salvation in Christ by grace through faith can grant you access to the land of spiritual and financial prosperity that lasts throughout eternity and truly allow you to glorify Him while planting & watering gospel seeds and producing good fruit.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!
