This program will help you undo financial bondage.
Learn how to present your Christian
testimony in everyday conversation with unbelievers so you can tell them about
the wonderful life changing experience you've had since accepting Jesus Christ
as Savior and LORD. While studying the bible continually, you'll notice men and
women after His heart sought a rich relationship by walking with Him, asking
for His guidance, and obeying His instruction. One result of this life-long commitment
is He greatly prospered them to fulfill the mission He placed on their lives.
Thanksgiving, praise, prayer,
righteous declarations, clean communication, bible study, fellowship with the
Church, vision, planning, and service to others are necessary practices to
build wealth in a God-pleasing manner. Let Him direct your life and give you vision
and goals to pursue by faith. Plan how you’ll move forward, work diligently,
and manage income and assets from employment and entrepreneurial endeavors.
·
Use
a budget so you don't overspend for your level of income and to ensure you faithfully
honor Him by tithing and giving free-will offerings to the Church to help
spread the gospel throughout the Earth via evangelism and disciple-making.
·
Refuse
to borrow money to obtain material things you need and want. Be willing to sacrifice and show self-control and
contentment by not worrying about or trying to purchase items you cannot pay
for even though you desire them. This pattern displays trust by allowing Him to
provide for you and your family when you cannot. It helps you eliminate debt bondage
and the negative consequences that follow it.
·
Save
an adequate emergency fund (usually a beginner’s minimum of $1,000 and
otherwise up to at least $10,000 or more when needed) in a bank or credit union
account that protects the principle and pays as much annual interest as possible
at the current time while allowing you total freedom to withdraw the money without
penalty when an emergency occurs.
·
Afterward,
use the snowball method to eliminate all non-mortgage debt.
·
Then,
invest at least 10 percent of your take home pay in reliable equity investment
vehicles that are easy to understand, contain broad diversification, and historically
have netted higher reliable long-term annual returns (no-load low-expense stock
index mutual funds, etc.).
·
At
the same time, use a substantial portion of your remaining cash flow toward early
payoff of mortgage debt (usually your primary residence first and then other
properties). In some instances, you may want to sell non-primary properties
to accelerate consumer debt elimination and eliminate financial bondage.
·
When
the mortgage is paid off, you will have immensely more cash flow from which you
can give, save, invest, and spend more.
Believers experience death,
persecution, ridicule, and much opposition in this life, however these light
afflictions cannot be compared with the wealth of the glory of God that will be
revealed once we leave this earthly body to live with Him forever. We need to
plan and do all we can to accomplish the Great Commission given to us, so let’s
build wealth using methods that conform to biblical principles and use a great
portion of it to serve His will.
This includes drafting a will, power
of attorney for financial affairs, and power of attorney for healthcare
decisions, in case you experience death or incapacitation. Loved ones need to know
how to manage your affairs if necessary for them to take care of you and how to
disburse accumulated assets to loved ones and church ministry after you go home
to be with the LORD. The steps above give Him glory and are a positive example
to other people that help them see the richness of His eternal wisdom and provision.

The book at the link below provides principles and
practical steps that help you use the Power To Get Wealth. By 1992, we had $135,000 of debt and a
negative $35,000 net worth. Financial bondage and turmoil led me to seek
principles and a process for employing good stewardship. As a result, we became
constructively debt-free in 1998, mortgage free January 2004, millionaires in
2012, multi-millionaires shortly thereafter, and retired in 2018 in my
mid-fifties from public servant jobs while giving abundantly to fund the gospel
of our LORD Jesus Christ. The same power is available to you
