MoneyWalk 186 Jesus Is Lord Of All

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Many say Jesus is Lord of their lives because they call themselves Christian. Yet, some have given lordship to people and things other than Jesus Christ. He is not impressed when you or other people call you a Christian, a pastor, leader, or member of a local church. Nor is He impressed when you have a multi-million-dollar income, a huge asset base, a naturally powerful position among men, celebrity status, a six-figure income, low-income, or poverty status in society.

He’s disappointed and very sad no matter your income and asset level when you do not use your life, skills, money, and resources to support gospel-based preaching, teaching, and service in the earth. His will is to be lifted up so other people can be drawn into an intimate relationship with Him in order to be saved, inherit eternal life, and partner with Him and His Church to fulfill the Great Commission via employing the purpose and calling He gave them in this life.

Remember, the Lord was angry and called the rich man a fool when he built bigger barns for himself instead of giving proportionately to support gospel work in the earth. Also, the young rich ruler had riches and position in life and yet Jesus was sad because he wouldn’t allow Jesus to be Lord of the life and money to which he was entrusted. The young rich ruler also walked away with great sorrow, even though he followed many of the other commandments from his youth on. He did not truly love the Lord with all his heart, mind, soul, and strength and thus could not truly love his neighbor as himself. He had a form of godliness, but denied the power thereof.

In Contrast, Jesus was pleased with the heart and actions of the poor widow because she gave her last few pennies to support God’s work. He was also pleased with the rich that lent themselves, in His name, to good works, helping the poor, and other service for which they were gifted by God and trained to use. Whether rich, poor, or in-between make Him the priority of your life and obey His will (including tithing, offering, and abundant giving) when you earn or receive money, income, and accumulate assets. This will please Him and bless you immensely!

The book at the link below provides principles and practical steps that help you use the Power To Get Wealth. By 1992, we had $135,000 of debt and a negative $35,000 net worth. Financial bondage and turmoil led me to seek principles and a process for employing good stewardship. As a result, we became constructively debt-free in 1998, mortgage free January 2004, millionaires in 2012, multi-millionaires shortly thereafter, and retired in 2018 in my mid-fifties from public servant jobs while giving abundantly to fund the gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ. The same power is available to you!
