MoneyWalk 394 Proper Spousal Care

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Increased care of and discipline in honoring your spouse will prosper you immensely throughout your life. Husbands and wives today tend to think and act more in line with agendas that satisfy their own individual pleasures such as purchasing boats, recreational vehicles, enormous stock piles of tools, sports cars, sport tickets, large homes, vacation homes, expensive clothes, purses, shoes, cars, etc. rather than loving and respecting one another in a collaborative manner that benefits the marital union allowing them to carry out all responsibilities the LORD has given them while on earth.

Such selfishness often leads to purchases based on pressure and guilt as well as high-cost and low-cost purchases made without consultation and agreement from the spouse. Sometimes, one finds an “I deserve these things” attitude leading the charge in one or both spouses, which often leads to massive amounts of incurred debt producing financial bondage in the married life. Many times, spouses do not want to jointly manage their incomes, so each one alone can dictate spending of the lion’s share of the portion they earn or receive, which often leads to inefficient spending and failure to build adequate emergency reserves, retirement funds, and other reserves that can help the couple thrive, have fun, and serve in meaningful capacities throughout their lives.

It has been noted that financial problems / bondage is the driving force behind more than 50% of divorces, which should lead you to realize that every husband and wife and people planning marriage should together develop a plan (budget) for giving, saving, spending in which they (1) decide they will only make future purchases for which they can pay cash and (2) detail every payment for major and minor expected and desired purchases / bills for each month. Also, each spouse should receive a consistent personal money allotment each month, like 5% of gross monthly income, to be able to purchase utility needs and minor desires of his/her choosing so neither spouse develops a domination spirit concerning all choices and purchases made by the other one. In addition, make sure you honor each other’s birthday, wedding anniversary, and a few other special days upon which you both agree with gifts that fit within your budget allotments.

Together, your loving, respectful, faithful, collaborative, forward-looking, wise management of your life and finances in which you care for your spouse like your own body while declaring and expecting abundant life will strengthen your marriage and make it divorce proof (till death do you part) and cause your disposable income and love gifts from others to grow throughout your future, allowing you to properly care for your spouse and family, care for all your ministry responsibilities, and shower your spouse with more.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 393 Prosperity's Two Portals

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

God provides every person’s need, allows blessings to come to him/her, and will not allow any burden to be placed on him/her that He will not help him/her deal with and overcome. Some suffer martyrdom in this life while others live in material blessing. Regardless of which situation you live, God gives us strength to glorify Him and build treasure in Heaven regardless of the earthly situations we live through. This is most important because the entirety of our eternal existence is far longer than the short stay we have on earth. Thus, pleasing the LORD and heavenly treasure will be far more important than the temporal things we may enjoy on earth for a short while. You need to be in a state of intimacy with Him where you can enjoy both aspects in accordance with His plan for your life. This is the only place you will find true and lasting peace and joy.

Whether you earn a minimum wage or million-dollar salary, your duty while on earth is to honor God when giving, saving, and spending all the money and resources you receive. After all He entrusts to you anything you receive and expects you to use it in accordance with His will to properly care for yourself, immediate family, Church members and ministry, and serve others. You should be committed to your employers, working as unto the Lord by following each requirement that is not immoral while refusing to do anything that would dishonor Jesus Christ.

You must be patient recognizing over time this level of faithfulness will positively bless you, your family, and other people by providing ever-increasing money and resources to meet needs and enjoy meaningful desires. Do not be like people who become weary in well doing and give up right before the ultimate blessing, anointing, and inheritance rains upon them. Even if your earthly destiny ends in martyrdom, you will immediately receive eternal treasure, joy, and stature becoming of the sacrifice in glorifying Jesus Christ and helping build His kingdom. The earthly prosperity portal is very important because it will allow you to be rich in good works, generous, and always ready to serve. Yet, the eternal prosperity portal is far more valuable and should lead you to use, in a God-honoring way, anything that comes through the earthly portal.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 392 Teaching Kids To Properly Manage

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Many children are taught to believe pursuits other than faith in and intimacy with Jesus Christ are more important for their lives because their parent’s daily activities deceive them into thinking it is acceptable to spend little or no time in fellowship with Jesus Christ, the Church, and other believers. Also, emphasis on being successful in life is usually couched in the need for higher education in universities or finding a highly-paid niche via the professional music, acting, entertaining, or sports industries.

Most of the present-day boards and CEO’s facilitating these options have absolutely no focus on glorifying the LORD in what they do and how they do it. Even when they will market gospel products and services, the main driver that determines what they will do is how much profit they believe they can make with it. Often, even when profit has been good they will kill a good product or service when human sentiment from customers and naysayers do not like a person they were using who delivered a message of righteousness based on biblical morals during a speaking engagement or media interview that is not related to the product they endorse for the company. This has happened in many instance when the person described what the LORD via the bible shows are sexually immoral practices and lifestyles.

Many parents either agree with this handcuffing of godly voices in society or simply provide no voice to let their kids know they should believe, live, and speak the LORD’s standards regardless of what others around them have to say and that they should be willing to suffer (if need be) in living His way because it puts them on the narrow road of salvation leading to eternal life of which Jesus Christ spoke. Tragically, this same parental apathy exists in stewardship of money and resources the LORD entrusts to them. Again, they present a terrible example to the children and to their onlooking friends.

For sure, we must live in the world, but we are instructed to not be of the world. In other words, even as we go about getting training, higher education, and mastery in vocational fields we must not do so in ways that lead us and our children away from the LORD’s standards and will for our / their lives. We must be ever vigilant to pray and ask His guidance about our children’s purpose in this life and show them how to do the same and to live according to His will overall and per His instruction when He speaks specifically to them.

Failing to example this pattern for children or allowing them to think those around them who appear to have lots of money, power, and/or fame automatically do everything the right way or that it does not matter what one does as long as it results in them being happy will entice them to live out many bad patterns that seem fun for a short time but will in the long run be hurting instead of helping them. In the financial arena, such mindsets lead them to constantly borrow money to try and get all the material comforts they desire, which will make them slaves to debt and creditors and ensure financial struggles throughout their lives even when they are able to achieve high incomes and lives full of material pleasure.

They should be taught as early as possible to (1) work for employers and via entrepreneurial endeavors, (2) tithe & give offerings, (3) budget, (4) save, (5) not borrow money but instead save to get what they want, (6) not cosign for other people, (7) invest in equities, and (8) diversify their savings and investments. This will not happen when you are not focused on pursuing God’s will for your life. Your children are more likely to follow what you do rather than what you say, so make sure your lifestyle and examples line up with biblical standards for good stewardship because it is the only lifestyle that glorifies the LORD and leads to true fruitfulness, reward, and prosperity.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!
