MoneyWalk 382 His Power In You Breaks Bondage

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

No doubt you have faced temptations to obtain unnecessary loans for homes, cars, clothing, jewelry, college, and businesses. Ultimately, such loans are marketed to provide you with money to purchase things you desire and to provide financial institutions with a lucrative profit throughout the course of the loan. Ordering life according to loans drains current income and your ability to build future wealth.

The average and medium indebted of our country’s citizens in every category increases dramatically every decade. It buries most people throughout the course of their lives because they did not understand the risk inherent in borrowing and often the thing for which they borrowed the money (many times too much money) did not work out quite the way they envisioned.

It is best to lean on loving family and friends who can gift you cash and resources until you save enough to take care of emergencies without having to lean on them, to purchase the things you desire for cash, and to educate yourself to start the process of turning a portion of the cash you earn into great wealth over the long haul. As a giving believer, the LORD will take care of all your need according to His riches in glory and make all grace abound to you so you have all sufficiency in all things. When you start and continue avoiding debt, you will actually live better with greater peace, joy, and faith than your heavily indebted peers, who seem to have all the trappings, even when your natural eyes in the beginning of the process falsely tell you that you are not.

The most important thing you can do is be responsible enough to pursue gainful employment, give reasonably to support gospel ministry, and give family and friends an agreed upon amount toward rent, food, and other services they provide to help you pursue the plan necessary to gain financial freedom and independence. Such appreciation in accordance with your income and a prudent budget motivates them to help you for as long as you need. It also makes room for their help later if you need to re-group for a short period if your first move to independence does not work out as well as you thought it would.

Many scriptures warn us to stay far away from debt because it puts us in bondage to creditors. Though scripture identifies that debt may be obtained by those in poverty who need to house and feed their families, we should always trust God enough to know He placed His power in us to help us avoid and eliminate debt so we can to the greatest degree possible fulfill our purpose and destiny.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 381 Debt Hinders You!

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Many Christians are in bondage to creditors due to large debts. Borrowing to try to keep up with the people around them and society in general has wrecked their will power, discipline, and trust in God. The LORD provides many things for us to enjoy, yet He warns us in scripture that enjoyment will not be the result when we take on debt to get things. In fact, bondage, headache, and heartache are often the result of a lifestyle maintained via debt. The risk you take on is far greater than most people realize because creditors will come calling even when situations have occurred in your life that put you in a poor position to pay what you owe. The ever-increasing millions of repossessions, foreclosures, and bankruptcies that occur in our country every year are due to people not being able to pay debts they willingly incurred.

Debt-free living is an essential part of God’s plan for your life because debt hinders your ability to prosper in that:

• You most often borrow to spend money you do not currently have to purchase items that depreciate. Thus, steadily reducing your net-worth.

• Finance charges on the borrowed money is often much higher than interest you will earn on savings.

• There is no guarantee your income won’t be interrupted before the loan is paid off disabling your ability to pay the monthly payment and thrusting you into repossession, foreclosure, and/or bankruptcy.

• You’re cosigning loans for people who have no current assets to cover the full amount of the material thing they desire and for which you have no ownership. In the vast majority of cases, they will stop paying on the loan and the creditors will come after you.

• There is no guarantee borrowed money will result in a far greater stream of income.

Unfortunately, most of us had not been taught these things when growing up and we engaged them only to later realize the problems that result. Thus, a critical part of successful financial planning is creation of and regular adherence to a budget focused on debt elimination because this is necessary to take you to debt-free living and greater net worth. By having this God instructed focus you will find throughout the rest of your life that you are able to pursue your true purpose and calling instead of a lifetime of pressing to get and maintain material things and experiences that will not matter when you stand before God and must answer to Him for how you spent your life.

You will not miss out on anything that was needed or truly important. In addition, trusting the LORD in this way throughout this process and your life by obeying His instruction will allow Him to bless and reward you with desires He knows are most meaningful to you without you putting shackles on your wrists and ankles in order to get them.

Your financial situation will not improve as long as you have debts (liabilities) with higher principle balances and finance charges than you have assets and investment growth. You must do what is necessary to make asset and investment growth of greater importance while ensuring that you never put yourself in a financial position where you may be tempted not to honor God with the first fruits of your increase and let everything else flow from that heart and mindset. Otherwise, you will shut down the supernatural river of peace, joy, and prosperity that God provides to faithful people. Eliminating debt in pursuit of debt-free living is the way you make such necessary financial improvement.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 380 Faithful Financial Management

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Very few people can keep an accurate stewardship plan in their heads making it impossible to use income in the best possible manner. Therefore, you need to keep an updated 3 to 6-month plan / budget on paper or computer. This projection of expected income and expenses for the household over these months lets you know if you currently have enough money to pay all bills, when certain bills cannot be paid at some point in the future, and if there is enough disposable income after bills are paid to save and invest a reasonable portion in order to have compound interest and exponential growth work to bring you far greater increase over the course of your future.

Developing and implementing a stewardship plan makes you a better steward of the LORD’s resources entrusted to you. Its purpose is to properly manage your income by giving, debt elimination, saving, investing, and reasonable spending for your level of income. Immediate benefits are learning to better understand your present financial condition, better planning for periods when expenses exceed income, identification of wasteful spending, identification of the need to reduce expenses or earn additional income, better financial decision making to achieve short and long-term goals, and obtaining the necessary knowledge, understanding, wisdom, discernment, and revelation to better your financial situation.

Long-term benefits are disbursement of money in proper, god-pleasing priority, abundant giving, debt elimination, asset growth through compound saving and investing, an ability to handle emergencies without taking on debt to do so, a life filled with peace, joy, and prosperity, and the ability to give to other people including sharing financial principles that bless their lives and families.

Those who fail to use the planning / budgetary principle spoken of in the Word most often find they are the ones who outgo exceeds their income, making the upkeep their downfall. The instruction of the LORD is that a wise person accumulate treasures while foolish person spends all that he gets. This plunges the foolish and family dependent upon him / her headlong into decay, destruction, and a financial death spiral from which they are not relieved until they begin to faithfully adhere to godly financial management.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 379 A Very Good Goal

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

A goal you should pursue is living off less than 70% of your after-tax income, so you can reap supernatural blessings that come from properly managing your income such as tithing to the Church, giving abundant offerings, eliminating all debt, and saving at least 10% to handle emergencies and ultimately make long-term investments. This goal will discipline you, crucify your fleshly desires, and require you to trust God for provision.

Anyone can pursue and live out this goal no matter what type of full-time job they currently hold, level of hourly pay they receive, or debt level they have. Just have faith in God’s love, desire for you to prosper, and in the principles in His word. Of course, this will not happen overnight. It takes a long-term plan with short-term goals that focus your actions to reduce expenses, increase income while appropriately giving, saving, investing, and spending in a way that pleases the LORD.

It is truly amazing how one person living on $12,000 per year can live very comfortably, without debt and financial stress while another person making $100,000 per year claims he / she makes too little to live on. Each person’s vision, planning, goals, and actions or lack thereof will determine whether he / she will have financial freedom or financial bondage. When you exercise faith and obedience in following the LORD and biblical principles, you will achieve godly goals regardless of current income because God will supernaturally help, bless, and reward you along the way. When you don’t use your spiritual weapons, you will ultimately be stressed by the demands of life regardless of your income level.

Please pray for this ministry and email me with any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 378: Illegitimate Divorce Equals Less

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Scripture clearly gives only a couple of acceptable reasons for divorce, yet many people divorce for illegitimate reasons. Husbands and wives that do not keep their marriage covenant suffer consequences including financial ones that they often make even worse by hating & unduly seeking to individually enrich themselves using divorce proceedings.

Two people, focused on God’s will for their union and family, are better than one spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially. A husband and wife team should seek God to share the same vision, thus enabling them to better coordinate lifestyles, schedules, activities, and expenses. This will always cost less than it does for divorced spouses who live apart. Largely because they do not have to spend twice as much for two separate living arrangements and household infrastructures. In addition, child support and alimony do not strain the family’s budget when spouses are united in Christ.

The angry atmosphere present during divorce is usually so contentious that the spouses spend all they can to try and take as many marital assets as they can away from one another, try to keep kids from visitation with their spouse, and spit venom on them through their comments. Many spend tens of thousands of dollars in attorney fees and court costs fighting to get the upper hand. This drags proceedings over a longer time-period and costs even more because the spouses are unable to get along much less compromise on a fair distribution of assets, etc.

Though the LORD can make up all that has been taken from a spouse illegitimately divorced, He knew from the beginning that divorce would be costly in so many respects including financial and seeks to save us from these circumstances if only both individuals will turn to Him, in intimacy, for direction so the mind of Christ will help them focus on His will, become the union He always wants them to be, and overcome every obstacle that is trying to keep them from that destiny. In that arena husband and wife become one and truly prosper. If you have already made the mistake of illegitimate divorce, seek to do things the LORD’s way going forward and resolve in your heart to not keep making the same mistake over and over.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!
