This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Many people don’t plan via budgeting (tracking income verses expenses) and thus are not properly prioritizing the use of their money in God-honoring ways. Many who currently lack resources act as if they cannot get food, clothing, transportation, and sometimes shelter free of charge from different sources, when truly in need. Very often these things can be obtained without spending any of their own money or not much at all. Sometimes, because they do not want to make short-term sacrifices to get to a better, more lucrative financial position. Many people try to hold onto houses with mortgages currently above their ability to pay. Sometimes, pride makes them want to continue to try and impress other people. Other times, it makes them not want to feel embarrassed or be ridiculed by other people. Don’t let the American Dream become your American Nightmare.

Look for and accept less costly alternatives over the short haul in order to make ends meet during tough financial times, so you can begin to grow and never have to be in that position again. For as long as necessary, consider buying items and paying expenses only as guided by a reasonable monthly budget (giving saving spending plan) where you’ll look to increase income and search for less costly shelter, get rid of high-cost vehicles, search clearance racks, and cut consumption to get other expense savings large and small. By faith believe a number of suitable options that will positively affect your financial situation will be available when you’re faced with an emergency or catastrophe you could not predict, foresee, or get around (recent layoff, surgery, death of a bread winner, etc.). Looking for, asking for, and utilizing such options in line with budgeting helps you properly prioritize spending against income and assets, and against filling your ledger with further liabilities (debts). This lifestyle will help you survive and overcome financial storms and grow wealth throughout the course of your life. 

Satan’s tactics have always sought to deceive you into thinking financial strength is obtained via leveraging loans (debt), building credit history for future loan acquisitions, and spontaneously getting all that your eyes desire. He also hopes you see little to no benefit in having an appropriate emergency fund, saving adequately for future needs, and investing in equity vehicles that produce far higher historical annual average growth than fixed-income vehicles. His plan devastates you over time and continually exposes you to greater risk than the LORD (who seeks to bless you) intends for you to bear. When you spend all you make and continually get loans to buy everything you desire, the day will come when you will have a mountain of bills you cannot pay and many headaches & problems. Don't be fooled, whether you're considered rich, middle-class, or poor you can get into a habit of overspending net income and thus end up in financial bondage and/or ruin.

A budget helps measure all your expenses, so you know when you're living above your means. It provides flexibility when income changes over time. It helps you see expenditures to eliminate or reduce to allow you have a life of Godly purpose, joy, and peace while eliminating worry and its accompanying stress. When your budget includes honoring God first via tithing & offering, you have a potent combination that is supernaturally charged to prosper you to take care of your family needs, give to plant and water gospel seeds in many people’s hearts, share with others in need, and not too far in the future be able to obtain, when appropriate, things that you desire without putting yourself in financial bondage again.

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Some financial pundits say paying yourself first is the solution to all your financial woes. It’s great when you’re able to do that. However, that method doesn't work, unless you know what your monthly net income is and you consistently expend less. This is planning of the tracking & budgeting kind. If you don't do it, you'll soon stop paying yourself first and expend all you previously saved to obtain needed cash to meet your un-affordable living standard.

After budgeting in advance of each month, to set aside a tithe of income and an offering, I certainly believe in paying myself by automating saving and investing a portion of income. This is as close to first as is possible for me. Unless you’re self-employed or an employer pays you under the table (the latter of which is generally not godly and can land employer and employee in legal trouble and prison), other entities will receive a good chunk of money you earn before you receive it and are able to save some for yourself.

Even independent contractors and business owners have obligations that should be paid before they can legally put money away for their own savings and investment. For instance, if you don’t pay quarterly taxes due, then all that you’ve paid yourself and more could be required of you in taxes, interest, and penalties. Failure to pay the right amount over a prolonged period of time could be considered tax evasion and land you in prison.

Therefore, a monthly budget is necessary because it helps you know how much you earn over given periods of time which in turn helps you understand amounts you need to give and/or are obligated to pay others (fixed bill payments – loans, utilities, etc.). The greatest financial need everyone has is giving a proportionate amount of income to honor the LORD to allow the biblical law of reciprocity to supernaturally prosper them. Also, a budget helps identify remaining cash flow that can be spent on desired products and services (groceries, personal spending money, miscellaneous, etc.). Food, shelter, and a base level of transportation are certainly needs, yet in many instances you get to determine how much income to put toward them. Clothing is a need only if you do not have suitable clothes to wear every day. Medical expenses might be a need in some instances. Most other expenditures are for desires. A budget allows you to place all things in proper priority, so you bypass the normal humanistic tendency to overspend on material things you desire to have while forsaking tithing, offering, almsgiving, saving, and investing. The latter help you fulfill purpose and take you to The Wealthy Place.

Destructive poor stewardship tendencies that lead people to financial failure are (1) over-spending, (2) regularly taking on loans to purchase products and services they don’t have cash to pay for, (3) failing to immediately record account withdrawals in their checkbook, and (4) failing to reconcile bank account(s) at the beginning of each month. These irresponsible habits compound poor stewardship until they eventually result in unbearable debt, repossession, foreclosure, bankruptcy, inability to properly care for loved ones, inability to give to propel the gospel, divorce, homelessness, etc.

The bible instructs you to monitor the state of your income versus your expenditures. To let peace and joy overcome financial destruction, you must keep the amount of your expenses well below the amount of your income. For example, you must budget in such a way that you spend no more than 70% of after-tax income on necessities and desires. You should also establish a habit of regularly tithing from income. This keeps the Windows of Heaven open over your life for tremendous blessing and reward to carry out your purpose. If you don't like to hear the word "budget," which is actually part of proper financial planning, would you rather hear the phrase "trapped in debt, relationships ruined, God-given purposes averted?"  When you don't budget or track income and expenses to maintain surplus cash flow and build wealth via investments, you inevitably overspend income and get trapped. Financial ruin silently overtakes those who fail to track expenses vs. income (just like carbon monoxide silently and without odor takes the life of people trapped in closed buildings).

Destruction happens when you’re convinced by the enemy of your soul (satan) that you’re wiser than God and could thus forsake His instructions without consequence. It will come and it doesn’t matter who reaches out to help you, you’ll continue to be in a place of natural, financial, and possibly eternal torment when you follow the world’s way of doing things. This is not the future God planned for you! If you want to grow financially healthy, wealthy, and wise, you must keep expenses below income and stay out of debt. Also, you should tithe, give offerings, save, invest, and diversify assets. This pattern will serve you well in the natural, financial, and eternal arenas of your life. Diligent obedience to biblical instruction leads to the prosperity He designed for your life.

You must be wise at managing money if you want to turn a negative financial condition around and maintain a good financial condition throughout your life. True wisdom comes only from the LORD and the bible tells you how to find it. It contains the only instructions that can truly prosper you in an eternal and earthly fashion.

Commit your ways to Jesus Christ and He'll direct you to bible verses that provide knowledge to make positive financial changes in your life. He enlightens your heart to want what God wants to come to pass for your life and the lives of others. He also enlightens your mind to understand principles that were previously hidden to your secular reasoning. Wisdom is imparted that you couldn’t receive from any other source to enable you to serve others, your family, and yourself in the best manner.

Knowledge usually precedes understanding. Understanding usually precedes wisdom. Wisdom is the principal thing you need because it is doing the right things the right way. It leads you to make the best lifestyle and financial decisions. Knowledge is receiving information about something. Understanding is recognizing or grasping the meaning of information so you know how to appropriately take care of situations. Wisdom is acting on such understanding in a way that is within God's moral boundaries. In an absolute sense, doing whatever the Holy Spirit tells you to do is wisdom because His instruction will always correspond with biblical principles and never lead you astray. Obedience brings spiritual and financial prosperity into your life.

Normally, knowledge fuels understanding and understanding fuels wisdom and wisdom takes the right action and then leads to seeking greater knowledge and understanding and so on. However, the Holy Spirit can give direct revelation on how you should respond to a situation without you ever having obtained information from which to get an understanding. Again, His guidance will never conflict with biblical principles.

Following instructions from other sources that do not conform to biblical principles ultimately brings grief, hardship, and destruction in this life and/or eternity. So, search the bible to find God’s general will and the financial principles you must employ to carry it out. Then ask the Holy Spirit for guidance on how to employ what you know and understand. Only then will you alleviate current problems and side-step future ones. You’ll always do it right when you follow His instruction because that is true wisdom and it brings peace, joy, righteousness, and the riches of Heaven into your life.

You must declare that He's your Savior and LORD and discipline yourself to read the bible daily, pray daily, and regularly attend a bible-believing local church where you'll receive godly instruction to help you prosper in every area of your life. Such rebellion is the domain of people who are unsaved, yet there are believers who haven't been diligent in applying godly disciplines. An eternal, heavenly home awaits each believer based on their confession of faith in Jesus Christ, but on earth some suffer spiritual and financial hardships because they fail to obey scriptural principles. Certainly, this is heads and shoulders above the unsaved because they will suffer damnation and torment throughout eternity simply because they fail to choose Christ, which would have saved them from such never-ending pain.

Yet, the earthly and eternal inheritance God holds in trust for believers should lead them to renew their commitment to Christ-likeness by repenting of following worldly instruction and examples. In this way, they can become as fruitful as possible on earth by investing money and resources in heavenly endeavors that truly serve people’s needs and help populate the Kingdom of God. With such renewed commitment, believers show they understand bible instruction, receive guidance from the Holy Spirit, and surround themselves with mature believers who serve as examples and inspiration for living in a truly productive manner. Also, we continue to call unbelievers into this commitment, so they can incorporate true and lasting prosperity into every area of their lives. Then, their hearts and minds will open to a level of understanding, revelation, and discernment that helps them walk in godly wisdom. Such enlightenment produces devotion to the LORD, His people, and His mission and produces eternally prosperous fruit in their lives. This is the way by which one truly escapes financial bondage.

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

You need a mission in life otherwise you’ll be unfulfilled, useless to other people, and/or a negative drain on your family, friends, and society. People without a godly mission tend to engage negative behaviors and activities. Others who engage missions that are not given and guided by the LORD may experience earthly success and praise from man, but on Judgment Day will be considered unfruitful. They have the wrong mission because they do not seek His glory in what they do, the skill they display, and the people they help. Upon turning to Him, their hearts, minds, and priorities will change and be an eternal blessing to them.

He wants us to understand that The Great Commission is the right mission and in pursuing it we must follow The Great Commandment by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to every person using an abundant portion of our voices, lives, time, money, and other resources. You should ask God to show His long-range vision for your life and goals you can employ in order to fulfill His mission: specifically, your part of it.

It will take continual planning to reach your goals, achieve your vision, and fulfill your part of the mission. If you don't write your plan out on a medium you can frequently re-read and periodically adjust (such as a computer), overtime specific components may be lost to your memory and you will fail to do all you should in leading other people to Him. People who keep their vision and goals always in view achieve much more than those who plan only in their heads and way more than those who don't plan at all. If you don't currently know what your specific vision and goals should be, start or maintain daily worship, praise, prayer, and bible study, keep serving in your local church, and keep learning about and disciplining yourself to be a good steward, including finances. In this way, you will please the LORD by drawing closer to Him. This will lead you to support your local church and build His kingdom in the hearts of people by funding the gospel mission via tithes and offerings.

Satan continually tries to blind and lead people into the pit of Hell, originally designed for him and fallen angels. As you get busy working on the Great Commission with your local church, in due time the LORD will show you and other church leaders specifically what He wants you to do. Then, He’ll help you pursue what is important to His heart and your prosperity and posterity.
