Sometimes you forget that the LORD
requires certain actions from you for His universal law of sowing and reaping
to work situations out for your benefit. He is omniscient, omnipresent,
omnipotent, and sovereign and can do what He wants whenever He wants. Yet, He
has chosen to establish principles for our lives that produce positive or
negative consequences for you depending upon whether or not you choose to
discipline yourself to conform to His instruction.
The longing of your soul can only be fulfilled
and experience joy and peace via relationship with Father God through Jesus
Christ, as guided by the Holy Spirit. He created each of us with free-will, so
we would not robotically follow Him. Each individual chooses on his / her own whether
or not to love Him. Obedience to His will brings maturity and the best possible
results for us and others whose lives we touch.
Believers and unbelievers alike will
suffer various negative situations on earth however the bible shows believers
will inherit eternal life and a heavenly home where there will be no hurt,
pain, suffering, destruction, or sin. The love and light of God exist in Heaven
and thus surround everyone who chooses Jesus Christ as Savior and LORD. Those
who use free-will to choose a path opposite relationship with Christ suffer the
eternal negative consequence of Hell as their home.
The LORD desired better for them and
pointed out the way, the truth, and the life. Biblical principles contain a
benefit for everyone who obediently uses them and holds negative consequences
for those who disobediently reject the way God wants them to confess and
live. Sometimes, the consequence is
immediate. Many times, it takes years to manifest. More often than not on
earth, we cannot tell whether suffering is caused by immorality or a specific
immoral act because believers and unbelievers alike face many of the same negative
situations and have to deal with similar issues in life.
God can show mercy to anyone whenever
He wants, but He's established one simple rule from which His Word shows He
will not back down. Those who die
without repenting of sin and accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and LORD are
eternally damned because they have chosen this pathway. The Hell that they will
live in for eternity is neither a pretty picture nor a home that anyone should
desire. However, God is giving them exactly what they want based on the choice
they made.
Unfortunately, many are tricked into
thinking there are no consequences to their choice for Christ and sometimes for
other lifestyle behaviors on earth because their earthly existence seems to
have been filled with the favor of the universe in power, prestige, great
career position, higher education, money, resources, good relationships, etc. Sometimes,
they experience goodness on earth that seems greater and more advantageous than
what believers experience.
Satan is not all powerful, nor all
knowing, nor present everywhere (remember, God kicked Him out of Heaven when
He coveted God’s position and throne and he fell to the earth like a flash of
lightning!). Yet, God gave him the ability to entice people to ungodliness
by offering them the kingdoms and delicacies of this world if they would bow
down to him. This had to be allowed in order for men to have the capacity to exercise
free-will. As a human, Jesus resisted this temptation as an example to each of
us that the Holy Spirit also gives us power to resist satan’s advances and to
do the will of the Father while on earth looking forward to our eternal
heavenly home.
He gives each person the ability to
accept Christ as Savior and LORD and to manage his / her affairs and resources,
including money, in a way that pleases Him. Accept this love gift now and start
living in the joy of a citizenship in an eternal Heavenly home not made by
human hands but rather by the power and presence of the Living God.

People who
have hard hearts and do not really want to believe in Jesus Christ or know how
to live and act righteously at the current time cannot understand the truth of
the Word nor parables He spoke. He cultivated relationship with the Father via
prayer, fasting, and obedience and knew many situations would take place in
these people’s lives from which they could one day cease to be scorners and
mockers and want to know the truth of salvation, eternal life, and meaningful
purpose that only comes by way of faith in Him.
At that time, the blinders would be removed from
their eyes and their ears would be unstopped. All of a sudden, their spirits
would be alive and their minds able to receive divine truth by the power of the
Holy Spirit. God's instructions for
managing life, money, and resources would no longer be hidden from them.
Some people around them would operate in carnal
way. Others would have a form of godliness, but deny the power of God in the
stewardship of their lives and money. However, those who believe will persevere
in the activities that please the LORD and help build His kingdom in the hearts
of men, women, and children. As we move through life on earth we progress
through various stages of the sanctification (maturation) process and
eventually understand and apply biblical good stewardship principles.
Those who choose to deny the Word and His
principles are like Pharisees who wore religious attire, sought titles, and
appeared holy to men, yet refused to accept Jesus as Savior and LORD, the only
way to Heaven, and the One whose light should have shined through their lives
and directed them into godly thoughts and lifestyles. When Pharisee type
attitudes are not repented of by the end of your life on earth, eternal doom is
what you choose as your reward.
Those who accept Jesus as the Christ continually,
collectively communicate gospel truth to many people on earth and display good
fruit that serves His purpose. This sets you up to be blessed throughout
eternity and on earth with resources necessary to accomplish your individual
calling and the Church’s collective Great Commission.
Don't be persuaded by worldly advice when God
long ago shared the only principles that will truly prosper you. Wisdom from
God direct you to tithe and give faithfully to your local church and other
worthwhile charities, to help the poor, to spend less than you make, to refuse
to borrow unnecessarily and to eliminate debt, to refuse cosigning, to save and
invest a reasonable portion of your income, to diversify your savings &
investments, and to leave an inheritance for others to continue to spread the
gospel throughout the earth.

Each born again believer is part of the body of

you’re saved, you represent a certain portion of the body unique with your own
gifts, abilities, and resources that supply exactly what is needed by other

very different from others. God made you
and carved out a place for you in Christ’s body to carry out His purpose for
you in this world. Rest assured that you'll be blessed financially and in other
ways as you put your gifts, abilities, and resources to use glorifying Jesus
Christ by building God’s kingdom in and through your life, communication,
actions, and money.
Within and outside the Church use your gifts to build
believers and reach unbelievers. Be a faithful member in your local Church who
tithes and serves along-side others. You have some of the same gifts,
abilities, and resources as other people, yet they manifest in ways unique to how
the LORD endowed you. Don’t wait for perfect conditions to use spiritual gifts.
Serve where you can and watch Him mature, prosper, protect, and promote you in
the marketplace. Intimacy with Him and desire to see your gifts utilized to the
fullest should lead you to biblically-based good stewardship of your life and
money that allows you to have an abundance for every good work.

MoneyWalk 87 Save & Invest
This
program will help you undo financial bondage.
There are
faithful people of God like Abraham, Ruth, David, Esther, Joseph of Arimathea, Lydia,
and those spoken of in 1Timothy 6:17-19 who built wealth from legitimate work, saving,
investment, and inheritances. Such wealth was part of His plan for their lives
and was used to carry out His will and care for their families and others.
All the patriarchs and matriarchs of our faith suffered
temptations, trials, and tribulations during their lives and sinned on occasion.
Yet, our faithful Father led them to repentance and continued to progressively build
them into trustworthy people. He does the same for all who believe in Jesus
Christ. The bible shows wealth they built was a blessing and reward experienced
as a result of overall faithfulness to Him and was not sinful or in conflict
with His will.
Your devotion to God through Jesus Christ should
be your highest priority. Seek His face and not His hand. He then provides all you
need and more to fulfill His plan for your life and it happens without taking
on greedy, covetous, and selfish traits. He opens the windows of Heaven and
pours out huge rewards. Manage it (give, save & invest, and spend) in
accordance with biblical good stewardship principles.
Scripture shows you should save and invest a reasonable
portion of the money the LORD entrusts to you. It doesn't identify a specific percentage,
yet wisdom leads me to set aside at least ten percent and more as I am able. Start
this process by budgeting to reduce spending on needless material purchases, so
you can build a first-tier emergency fund of at least $1,000 and then pay off
non-mortgage debt. After reaching these goals, build your emergency fund to at
least $10,000 and up to at least six months of expenses. Afterward, put at
least 10% of gross income into investment vehicles like no-load low-expense stock
index mutual funds that provide diversity and won't put money in unreasonable risk.
Always remember, savings and investments are not
your source. They’re simply a resource that the LORD the source allows you to
set aside to provide help in time of need: for yourself, the Kingdom, and others. Never be worried about the amount of your wealth.
Simply be faithful to Him, work hard, and seek to be a good steward. You will
walk into The Wealthy Place designed for you to show His glory and bless your
life.
