MoneyWalk 331: Charitable Giving

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Whenever humans establish charitable and benevolence programs we must understand that some applicants may get benefits who truly didn't qualify. Even discerning individuals and Churches provide benefits to some who were not truly needy. We should not worry about the times these situations slip through our view. We should simply do our best to obtain background information, determine benefits eligibility, and have best practices that minimize fraudulent activity so we can help as many as we can who are truly in need. Once you find out that a person is not qualified for your help, then cut off money and resources to him / her and consider doing what is necessary and prudent to recapture anything taken fraudulently so you are the best steward possible of all the LORD entrusts to you.

Let past failures and the few times people may slip through the cracks in the future be lessons learned that help hone your individual and corporate benevolence processes and help you realize that in all things you must trust God and expect His help in order to be highly successful. You must ask God to help you use the right balance of intellectual ability and spiritual discernment because He created both to help you understand His ways and successfully walk through this life doing His will.

Jesus Christ, His apostles, and ancient biblical patriarchs and matriarchs did not live with the priority of being social service agencies. You do not find biblical accounts of them going about indiscriminately handing out money and resources to people many would consider needy. Their mission was to intimately know Father God and publish the good news of the Redeemer, Jesus Christ, so others could also choose Him and thus have a home in Heaven and be provided their need according to His riches in glory.

Our spiritual ancestor’s faithful actions (good works) were conduits that help us know Him better. They largely brought healing from affliction, deliverance from bondage, and lifestyle examples from which many subsequent generations could be blessed. In speaking of them, the bible, provides principles that govern charitable giving of money and resources and identifies peoples’ circumstances that meet qualifications for such benevolence. It aims those desiring benevolence at doing what is spiritually, physically, and mentally needful to help set themselves on the right course that contains everything necessary to meet their earthly needs.

Every Christian individual and corporate body must never forget that the primary mission is to worship and glorify the LORD, evangelize unbelievers, and make disciples of those who have chosen to believe. Refuse to get sidetracked by human and satanic agendas that would have you put your priority on providing social services. For it does not profit anyone to lose his / her soul, yet receive every earthly thing he / she desires or you could give him / her. Instead, put charitable works in their proper place, which is only to augment the number one priority of delivering the gospel to lost people headed toward an eternity in Hell. No matter their income and asset levels on this earth they are the poor the LORD is seeking to reach. Upon coming to Him in submitting their bodies as living sacrifices obedient to His good stewardship instructions for lifestyle including management of money He entrusts to them necessary provision, blessing, and reward will flow into their lives.

God will guide and set up situations for your fulfillment and success and that of His Church when you continually ask for His wisdom. He will provide appropriate help (people, plans, projects, money, resources, etc.) for the needy in every arena of life (family, neighborhood, business, church, governments, etc.). He will help you set qualifications that largely avoid benefitting the wicked, the greedy, the lazy, and the immoral and will help you understand the money and resources that should be expended and the time limits for providing such help. He blesses us to be a blessing, but we must put love in its proper context in order to truly love people and help those in need. Certainly, we can give people a fish on which they can eat for a day, but more importantly the LORD wants us to teach them how to fish so they can eat abundantly for a lifetime and throughout eternity.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 330: Properly Use Wisdom

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

King Solomon was a man of great wisdom, yet something went terribly wrong in his life. His immorality became progressively worse, so that theologians argue about whether or not he was in relationship with Father God at his death. He was a good king in many ways but his unwise actions affected the kingdom of Israel so much that it split apart shortly after his death after his son who ascended to the throne would not relieve the tax oppression Solomon had levied on the people to take care of idol worshipping queens and concubines and to obtain and maintain excessive material things.

He disobeyed God by making treaties with nations God told Israel to conquer and not make alliances with. To make matters worse, he married hundreds of these nations’ princesses to feed fleshly lusts and make alliances that were not God’s will for Israel. Even though the LORD early on gave Solomon direct access to His wisdom, he choose to progressively use sensual, human derived intelligence to direct his path with realizing that it would progressively lead him and many Israelites away from the LORD, who alone is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient and thus knows specifically what is best for every single person, family, and nation and who knows the decisions and actions necessary for us to obtain and sustain true reward and blessing.

Solomon actions led to idol worship throughout the land, ungodly excesses at every turn, oppression of the citizens, and emptiness in his soul. Regardless of the gold laden temple he built, all the riches he secured, and his fame throughout the known world, the course of his life became a foul odor to God and caused immorality to fester in Israel for many years because of his poor example and his failure to properly use the wisdom God granted him.

You can escape this trap by following biblical principles in every area of your life. When you seek him, the LORD will not direct you in a manner that violates His will written in the bible. Don’t make treaties with the devil, worldly people, or your carnal nature by overspending and going into debt, rather make your priority legitimate gainful employment, giving first and abundantly to fund the Great Commission, and budgeting the remainder of the income God entrusts to you to care for family now and into the future through reasonable and disciplined saving, investing, and spending that glorifies Him and brings you earthly and eternal benefit.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 329: Talk The Walk

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Prosperity will overtake every area of your life when you are devoted to the LORD, His mission, and His people. In order to follow this path, you must recognize the power that is implanted in you. If you’ve repented and accepted Jesus as Lord, then you’re a child of God with full rights and authority to denounce and reject sin, transgression, and iniquity and their accompanying bondage including poverty (spiritually in the inner man and physically on the outer man). You have the ability to trample over them and walk your life out in a way that removes every curse from your life.

Take the blinders off your eyes so you can see the attitudes, actions, and traps that placed you in bondage. Now, you must get the ball rolling by talking the walk before and while you take the walk on the path the LORD planned for you. Daily tell yourself that God has given you power to subdue the enemy and every obstacle and all the resources needed to establish His covenant in the earth, that He makes you rich and adds no sorrow to it, that the windows of Heaven are opened over you, that no weapon formed against you can prosper, and that God has a great future and hope for you!

Speak and let the life and blessing He has for you lead to actions that fulfill these promises such as:

• Choosing Jesus as Lord, worshipping Him with the fruit of your lips and life.

• Seeking God’s wisdom through prayer at every turn, planning and budgeting your income and expenses (knowing the state of your flocks and herds).

• Being reasonable about and consistent in tithing and giving over the long term instead of spontaneous and inconsistent in giving thus breaking vows and lacking self-control.

• Refusing to spend more than disposable after tax income given your monthly expenses.

• Staying out of consumer debt, living within your means, and regularly saving a portion of your income.

Declaring, proclaiming, and decreeing spiritual and physical prosperity in your life, as identified in the bible, causes His supernatural and your intellectual and physical abilities to destroy financial bondage in your life. When you talk the walk you motivate and command your body and soul to take the actions and do the work that is important in pleasing the LORD and bringing the type of wealth into your life that helps you fulfill His purpose for your life and the Church.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!

MoneyWalk 328: Be Led By God’s Vision

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

You should write out long and short-term goals that keep the vision God has for mankind as the foundation for your work / service, entrepreneurial endeavors, desired fruitfulness and prosperity. He does not want anyone to be damned eternally or suffer needlessly in this life, so He offered His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, as the sacrifice to eliminate our sin, upon choosing Him as Savior and LORD. Thus on Judgment Day, He will not look upon our filthy rags righteousness, rather He will consider Jesus’ pure and unadulterated righteousness as ours and accept believers into His heavenly home.

As disciples, our priority mission is to tell the world about Jesus and teach them how to be more like Him. God designed the plan of salvation such that the vast majority of people will not hear about the only path to life eternal, which is in Christ, unless we tell them. God is determined to let you join Him in publishing the word of salvation and sanctification to everyone in the world.

He gave different skill sets to people and planned that our occupations and levels of authority would be different so together believers can reach all people, cultures, ethnic groups, nationalities, and languages. He’s okay with the different venues you work and serve in as long as you’re not employed in immoral professions. Besides, the closer you draw to Him the more you’ll be led to the occupation and position He desires to use you for in the priority mission.

Most people’s occupations are not directly connected to church ministry, but an abundant portion of their pay should be given to fund gospel ministry and they should look for opportunities to communicate the gospel and be an example of Christ-likeness to those they work around. This won’t happen unless by His vision, contained in scripture, you set goals to pursue and achieve it. Without a few written goals that combine your work / service with the Great Commission, you won’t be the good steward God wants because the happenings of life (trials, tribulations, pleasure, and leisure) will cause you to lose focus on God’s will and the activities and endeavors scripture show you need to engage to truly bless and prosper your life.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May the LORD bless you richly as you follow His plan!
