This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Periodically evaluate whether you are a good example to other people based upon scriptural standards for conduct, lifestyle, relationships, and stewardship of money and resources because it helps you determine whether you are operating prudently and thus helping others see the light. You should never want to be a stumbling block to people via irresponsible or undisciplined financial focus, nor should you have materialistic or greedy attitudes and behaviors because they do not reflect the Christ-like character scripture instructs us to nourish throughout our lives.

When you manage money and obtain wealth outside of biblical principles, you're leading others onto the broad path that leads to destruction on earth and, if not repented of, throughout eternity. You can avoid being a stumbling block by learning and consistently using biblical principles such as:

·       Refusing to speak negatively about your current financial situation and possessions while thanking the LORD for increase that is coming, as you employ good bible-based stewardship techniques like budgeting income and expenses, establishing an emergency fund, eliminating debt, refusing cosigning, saving, investing, and diversifying assets as you build wealth.

·       Believing that God will lead you into The Wealthy Place to fulfill the marketplace ministry for which He made you.

·       Writing the vision and goals that will help you pursue His plan.

You will glorify the LORD and be a great example when, as part of your budget, you regularly tithe and give abundantly to at least your local church from whom you get spiritually fed and nourished and trained to serve the needs of others in the church and community. Writing a monthly budget to tell income where to go instead of continuing to spend spontaneously on things that keep you broke and make you wonder where it went will help you build your financial house in a way that satan cannot come and blow it down thus wrecking your ability to sow into the things of God and reap rewards thereof.

Jesus pronounced great wrath toward anyone who causes other people to sin or stumble off His path and scriptures clearly tell you not to be a stumbling block that keeps others away from the fullness of fellowship and service inherent in relationship with Him.

People are trying to measure whether or not your testimony is significant or not. Some want to downplay it because they desire to continue in unbelief. They hope humanistic beliefs and lifestyles go unchallenged. Others will ridicule anything that is based on the bible truth. You must understand everyone needs to hear your testimony and some want to hear it because they now understand the need for an eternal change in their lives. You will lead them to Jesus Christ who will save them, grant eternal life, and through intimacy in worship lead them to great purpose and destiny while they remain on earth.

Your testimony will lead many people to learn about His earthly life, miracles, crucifixion, shedding of blood, death, and resurrection that greatly benefit them. They need to know how you got better via the sanctification process that eliminates unwise and unhealthy lifestyle choices. You have a powerful testimony no matter what others think. Don’t be afraid to share it with family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, social groups, etc. 

Gain intimacy in daily worship, bible study, and local church fellowship to become more like Christ. Use bible principles in every area of life and learn to live a truly fulfilling life on this temporary home called earth by doing what is good to do and staying away from what is wicked. Tithe, budget your income and expenses, maintain an emergency fund, eliminate debt, save, invest, and diversify your assets over time. Your communication and example will lead other people closer to Him and train them in His way of living and serving others. Temptations, trials, hurt, and loss challenge every person. Going through such situations is not a sign of weakness. Your strength is shown by responding to these situations in faith with obedience to scriptural principles and with an eye toward sharing your testimony to serve others by leading them to Christ who can change their lives for the better.

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

It’s interesting that most people give away far more money in interest and fees to financial institutions than they do to honor God. On average, people give less than 2% of their income to the Church while spending 70% or more on themselves. Many promote 2Corinthians 8 and 9 as the basis for giving the small amounts they want to give when those chapters are actually talking about an offering to be collected for saints suffering through hard times. They are not speaking to tithing and offerings for the promotion of the gospel at home and abroad, nor to funds necessary for the upkeep of local and global organizations through which the body of Christ carries out The Great Commission via evangelism, disciple-making, ministry endeavors, and necessary facilities and tools.

It's interesting that employers or customers from whom you get income could not give it to you without God having long ago created the world with all the natural resources and human abilities necessary to make products and provide services that they are willing to purchase with income and assets He provides them. He loves you and allows you to obtain 100% of your income and all the money you will ever receive. Without His help and favor you cannot earn income and accumulate wealth.

Tithing and offering, and being a good steward over remaining income is a great help to your financial well-being, because the LORD promised to give more to those who faithfully handle money and resources they receive. The Old and New Testaments clearly show tithing & offering is a faith principle that blesses those who do not shut their hearts, minds, and hands to it. It improves us spiritually and naturally and indicates we love Him more than anything on this earth including money. It disciplines us to build the financial structure of our lives according to His principles and not the rudiments of the world.

It’s interesting many people don’t realize failure to display this principle leads to lack of financial discipline and thus bondage. They fail to see an earthly link between the two and oppose it saying they cannot afford to do it. Some oppose it by saying the New Testament does not show people should do it. Others believe it is works based and therefore should not be regarded in this dispensation of grace. And, some oppose it because they see a few people with great resources at their disposal even though they never tithed or gave offerings. 

The LORD will not force anyone to tithe or give abundantly. He uses the foolishness of this world to confound the wise and via scripture calls us to do things that do not make sense to our natural senses. It has been shown time and time again the great blessing that abound to those who obey His wisdom. It is far better to be in the will of God, helping spread His kingdom, and being a part of bringing other people into it, than to have the resources of any other man at your disposal, no matter how rich they are or how they got it.

Unfortunately, many people have more faith in the worldly way of doing things, impressing people, and fulfilling their own desires than they do in truly pleasing God and following His instruction. Many complain and blame God for their tight financial situation although He is not the one who bought houses, cars, clothing, boats, campers, and other products and services too expensive for their current income. It's interesting that, if only they would honor God with finances and wait on His timing, He would give them the real desire of their heart without the financial turmoil and hardships that accompany indebtedness and poor stewardship.

Jesus Christ’s will and way are for His Church to love all people even though we may not like their attitudes or what they do. You shouldn’t love your own attitudes and actions when they do not meet His standards, yet He still loves you and you should love you as you repent and let Him change you to be more like Him. You are called to extend His mercy and grace to other people and reconcile them to Him.

Thus, by the power of the Holy Spirit through faith we work to spread the gospel in our families, communities, and around the world using words and deeds. The bible tells us that the foolishness of preaching the gospel one-on-one or to a congregation brings people of every race, creed, or nationality to Jesus Christ. It also lets us know that we are created anew in Christ to do good works. Our stewardship of money & assets plays an important role in expanding our reach. Over time, it enlarges our efforts in building relationships with many people in our communities and around the globe because it allows us to implement tools that allow greater force and effect to our words and deeds, such as media, social media, radio, helps ministries & businesses, travel, outreach meetings, etc.

One important area of your witness of God’s glory is your desire and discipline in properly managing money and assets He entrusts to you. Everything you have comes from Him and your position in life would not be possible without His intervention and favor in your life.

People want to know that Jesus Christ made a tremendous difference in your life including finances as a witness of His power because this is one of the foremost areas in which they are suffering. Conversations that help them eliminate financial bondage in their lives will be a road that leads them to Christ. While you don't have the power to make them choose salvation and produce good fruit in their lives, you do have the ability to tell the truth in love about:

·       Eternal consequence of not accepting Jesus as Savior & Lord

·       Ignorance of and rebellion against biblical instruction that causes people to live unfruitful lives

·       Financial habits and mismanagement that is destroying God-given purpose while they’re on earth

·       God’s faithfulness in this life and throughout eternity in bringing His people victory over every temptation, trial, and obstacle they face

Answer the call. In humility, seasoned by God’s grace, extending mercy, tell others the truth in love and do not forget that your management of money and assets plays a tremendous role in your effectiveness and reach.  You can make a tremendous difference for good in many other people’s lives.
