This program will help you undo financial bondage.
Many
people pursue a level of possession of material things they believe will show other
people they have made it. Some want this level of riches in order to be
accepted by and rub elbows with those they believe have already made it. Some
also want it in order to be remembered after death, to leave their name as a
legacy. Naturally speaking, this puts their focus on achieving rock star,
professional athlete, and Fortune 500 CEO salaries and fame.
While
there is nothing wrong with pursuing professions, callings, and uses of gifts
and abilities that honor the Lord and producing huge amounts of income in the
process, you must understand that many people find themselves unhappy down the
road when their life pursuits were based solely on making money, purchasing
material pleasures, and obtaining power, fame, and approval among men. Your
desire for any pursuit should be based upon the firm foundation of scriptural
principle on Christ-like character. This entails the desire: (a) to be
intimate with the LORD; (b) to make His will the priority and bring Him
glory in all your personal and business pursuits; (c) to use your
business and other endeavors you engage to lead the lost to Him; (d) to
make disciples of other people to encourage them to follow your example of
godly living and communicating that pleases Him; and (e) to serve other
people by meeting needs and desires in ways that are not immoral.
Believers
that haven’t attained rock star status should never believe they haven’t
accomplished much at all, as long as they have been intimate with the LORD and
immersed in evangelical and disciple-making activities among family, friends,
and neighbors that fit Lord’s purpose and desired destiny for their lives. They
should be aware that in the midst of this intimate relationship they should use
the following biblical principles to build wealth as they pass through this
life that will help them fulfill their part of the Great Commission: (1)
Understanding that the LORD is supreme creator, all mighty, and owner of
everything; (2) Understanding that each person is only a steward of the
portion of the Lord’s possessions He assigns to him/her throughout life; (3)
Daily Praise, Worship, and Prayer unto the Lord; (4) Daily reading of
the bible; (5) Weekly fellowship with other believers; (6)
Contentment; (7) Sacrifice; (8) Self-control; (9) Tithing
& Offering; (10) Consistent and continuous planning & budgeting
using biblically-based vision casting; (11) Pursuit of debt elimination and
freedom; (12) Refusal to cosign loans for others; (13) Productive
Saving & Investing, and (14) Diversifying assets as you accumulate
more wealth.
The
Lord’s plan is that every person be a Christian and prosperous in the call on
their lives to be ministers of His grace to other people in the marketplaces of
life. In His eyes, you’ve achieved this state of being when you’re following
the purpose and plan He has for your life while helping the church fulfill its
mission of evangelizing and making disciples of other people. Then you’re
assured of reaching the destiny He has for you on Earth and in Heaven. To do
this you must put on the mind of Christ. The process begins when you accept Him
as Savior & Lord. Secondly, you must do what He directs you to do, from
regularly attending church to tithing and budgeting to live within your income.
Then, you must have faith to know that He will reward you for following His
principles and having the patience to wait until His promises come to pass.

This program will help you undo financial bondage.
Never
let the lust of the flesh, or the eyes, or the pride of life (self-centered
ego) determine how you pursue and handle money, otherwise you’ll be led to
destruction by the enemy because you’d have a mindset and actions that are
constantly focused on obtaining material things instead of focusing on God’s
will for your life and His call upon your life. Let biblical principles lead
you to seek God first then follow His dictates and standards, as this will help
you store treasure in Heaven and reap rewards on Earth while fulfilling your
purpose for being.
Your
faith should result in greater maturity throughout your life showing the
foundation of your life and desires are increasingly different than people who
have no allegiance to Jesus Christ. You’ll recognize you’re a king and priest
seated with Him in heavenly places high above evil powers when you confess that
He’s your Savior and Lord by believing His blood atoned for your sin while
giving you earthly purpose, eternal life, and everlasting victory via His
resurrection. Then, every treasure in Heaven is available for you to fulfill
the call for your life and help the church fulfill The Great Commission.
Blessings
will flow down from Heaven to help fulfill your specific calling and take care
of your earthly responsibilities when you glorify the Lord, minister to other
people, and activate biblical financial principles. Tithing, generous giving,
and debt-free living appear illogical and embarrassing in our culture and its
current economic scene. Yet, bible principles are the only ones that truly work
to get you where you need to be - out of poverty into a prosperous mode of
living while achieving the goals and calling He desires for your life.
