MoneyWalk 285: Consistent Giving Instead Of Promises Not Kept

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

It is best to consistently tithe and give offerings to your local church and ministries that are feeding, strengthening, maturing and developing you into the disciple-maker and blessing to your family and other people that the LORD called you to be. Those that help others find relationship with Jesus Christ and provide the impoverished with necessary provision through consistency in giving store treasures in Heaven that cannot be corrupted or stolen from them. They far exceed in character those who on a whim make vows to give but often fail to come through with the promised gift.

Often those who are moved to give spontaneously by emotion, but not in consistency through a steadfast heart, fail to understand that God rewards consistency in giving and established the inner-working of the Kingdom economy so those who regularly sow in the manner and proportion of their income instructed by scripture also regularly and abundantly reap of the fruit produced by the seed they continue to sow. The scripture declares that those who sow sparingly also reap sparingly. Do not buy into emotional appeals that fail to inform you of this truth while at the same time make you think you will be abundantly blessed and rewarded if you just promise a huge amount during this appeal even if you have failed to faithfully and consistently give in the past and continue to do so in the future.

You will encounter emotional appeals that would have you vow the moment you are asked to do so. It is necessary to seek God’s will on an ongoing basis before you give one-time or consistently to specific appeals. His will is found in prayer, scriptural study, and asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom and strength to consistently give abundantly in proportion to what He provides you and to whom He would have you direct your giving.

It is not good to make promises base on emotions or fear of damnation or lack for not giving when a particular appeal is made. Operating in this manner often solidifies poor stewardship, leads to financial problems within marriages and families, can produce unforeseen legal obligations, causes some to pursue sinful methods to obtain money, and sometimes results in broken relationships between those who are supposed to love one another when ministry complications arise or payment in not forthcoming. Listen to the Holy Spirit and stand on the Word with regard to believing in the blessing and reward produced by abundant giving and then take action to consistently do what He instructs. He will provide abundantly, so in all things at all times, having all you need, you will abound in every good work and also be able to give abundantly and proportionately to many spontaneous and special appeals that spread the gospel and help the oppressed.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May God bless you richly as you follow His plan!!!

MoneyWalk 284: Gift Giving

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Promote love, unity, peace, financial growth, and success in your marriage and family by planning to give your mate a card and gift on all special days based in proportion to your income and financial situation. You may be unable to spend a lot right now, but you can do something meaningful to show your love even if the card and gift or service is homemade.

Many people fail to honor their spouses on their birthdays and other days throughout the years and have thus allowed satan a place to enter their lives and ruin their marital trust, goodwill, strength, and family wealth building ability as a result of the evaporation of love for one another. Over the years, many spouses have suffered from improper love and lack of love, especially in the arena of responsible financial stewardship. This has led to the divorce plague we now experience in our nation. Unfortunately, many Christians have also failed to walk in such love and have brought suffering to themselves, spouses, and families.

Do your absolute best, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to avoid relationship pitfalls by respecting your spouse. They are your primary relationship responsibility and such loving care will produce the right example for your children and other family, friends, and on-lookers that will direct them to also display the right type of character throughout the rest of their lives.

Treat your spouse lovingly and honorably in every area of your relationship pursuant to biblical instruction. Continually nourish them physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially but do not overspend because after the good feelings are gone this tends to leave families impoverished in the short and long run. Biblically based love and care, including proper financial management, is sure to greatly prosper you all throughout life.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May God bless you richly as you follow His plan!!!

MoneyWalk 283: Be Great Where You Are

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Believers in Christ at every income category are children of Almighty God who will be used to do great ministry works when they spend time daily with the LORD in prayer / worship and bible reading, tithe and give free-will offerings, and serve in their local church to help it fulfill its God-given evangelism, disciple-making, and world missions goals.

Yet, many people are not confident in their ability to be all that God wants them to be. Such insecurity often comes from believing their past is marred with sin they don’t believe they can be forgiven for committing and they are not currently mature and sinless enough to be used mightily by God. Such feelings usually results in a lack of action toward godly goals or movement toward ungodly goals to satisfy their longing to be fulfilled and important.

Whether they are on welfare or are a millionaires, they fail to integrate evangelism (witnessing) and disciple-making of other people into the fabric of their lives. Satan, those who are of the world, and Christians who succumb to his negative influence want people at every economic level to believe they are too sinful (not good enough) to share their testimony with others and to properly live by scriptural principles in order to be godly examples of how to believe, walk, and talk in a Christ-like manner.

Demonic forces try to blind the minds of all men from the truth that we are at every stage of life gospel gardeners who go about planting the gospel and watering it while letting the Holy Spirit bring great increase. You must seek God with your whole heart in order to have Him take the blinders off your eyes and impart truth in your heart and mind. His truth will make you free! It will cause you to encourage others to good works through proper management of your life including money the Lord currently entrusts to you. This will grow the size and scope of the ministry to which He assigned you in the workplace and the Church.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May God bless you richly as you follow His plan!!!

MoneyWalk 282: Heaven Belongs To You

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Don’t miss the opportunities for planning to preserve yourself and serve the massive number of people who are in need of salvation, sanctification, and blessings from Jesus Christ. You can do some things for yourself and family like buying life insurance, living within the means God gives you, diversifying investments, and building cash reserves. But, you can't do much to alleviate problem situations in your life and community apart from working together with the Church and fellow Christians to weather the storms of life.

Your plan should begin by talking with the LORD daily, listening to Him, and reading and studying scripture in order to develop intimate fellowship with Him. You should augment this by weekly attending local Church fellowship. Also, you should seek counsel from godly people to develop plans for overcoming the trials and tribulations you will face throughout life. In addition, identify your present financial condition and determine how you can best manage your money and grow your resources to fulfill the purpose for which God made you within conformity to the Great Commission and the gifts, callings, and abilities He has given you. This includes legitimate work that produces good fruit in spiritual and secular settings.

Finally, write on paper or computer your strategy for fulfilling God’s will because this will more likely enable you to remember the plan specifics, follow the plan, measure how it's coming along, tweak it when necessary, and produce the fruit you are seeking to grow. Heaven belongs to you, so the LORD will provide in your times of need when you place your trust in the Him. Then, nothing will hinder you from glorifying Him, witnessing to the lost, edifying the saints, and being a great blessing to many other people in every venue of life.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May God bless you richly as you follow His plan!!!

MoneyWalk 281: Proper Preparation For Crises

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Y2K was the term used to describe the crisis some though would occur when January 1, 2000 arrived. The worry that most if not all computer systems would shut down at that moment and cause a ripple effect in power grids, business operations, and households all over the world because most computer programs allowed only two digits of computer code in the field that described the last two numbers of each decade within the 20th century. It was thought by some that everything from massive computer systems to microwaves and televisions could have been destroyed by a supposed lack of planning of computer makers and programmers.

Many believed chaos like the world had never seen would ensue when the clock struck 12 AM on the year 2000 due to people’s inability to power up equipment, tools, appliances that ran by computer chip because, until resolved, this crisis would not allow them to live in the comfort to which they had become accustomed and would require from many people more money than they had available getting things fixed and getting replacement items. The crisis never happened because computerized systems handled the new year double zeros far better than many surmised they would. Yet, we know that other crises will occur because they have always happened periodically throughout the history of the world.

Rest assured that the negative effects of any crisis can be overcome by using tools the LORD has given you while trusting His ability to provide your need at all times. God commands you to give to spread the gospel throughout the earth. He instructs you to put a portion of income and assets in seven or eight investments because you do not know the troubles that may come upon the land. He encourages you to prepare for leans times like Joseph did in Egypt so you’re able to feed your household and many others. And, He tells you to continually plant seeds that bring financial harvest even though many others are not doing so because all they can see are wind and rain clouds on the horizon. These instructions should lead you to plan and set goals to succeed and overcome crises because scripture has shown such actions and the belief that we and many others will be blessed by them are in accordance with His will and pleasing to Him.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May God bless you richly as you follow His plan!!!

MoneyWalk 280: Making The Right Choice

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

You should plan for the future to manage your life, income, and assets in the way the LORD instructs while recognizing you will face hardships and obstacles that aim to stop you from getting where God ultimately wants you to be. Do not let fear of catastrophes or of not having enough or of starting small stop you from moving along the money management path identified in the bible. Instead, have faith that the LORD will cause you to triumph over every hardship, obstacle, and wicked person that stands in your way in order to be useful in helping spread the gospel and disciple people in your current small or large sphere of influence.

When people are as obedient to His Word as they know how to be, He helps them make miraculous changes in their lives that prosper them eternally and on earth. Make God’s will the top priority in your life, even when faced with great temptation. Honor God first via tithing and offering versus spending all that you receive and/or taking on loans that will later cause you to owe the bulk of your income and assets to creditors. Give an abundant proportion of your income to your local Church and other worthwhile ministries. Do so even in the midst of current debt overload because the LORD is the One to whom you are always obligated with reason to honor above all else.

Through abundant giving and good stewardship He will help release you from financial bondage much sooner than would otherwise be possible. Your financial situation will surely improve because of the supernatural blessings God bestows on those who aim toward Heaven the earthly treasure He entrusts to them. This will allow your financial situation to greatly improve over time so you can pay off your creditors, save, and invest for growth. Finally, by showing the world that you place your complete trust in the LORD’s principles to release you from financial bondage, you will be a much better witness of the gospel than you’ve been in the past due to the radical nature in which you are now sold out to Jesus Christ.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May God bless you richly as you follow His plan!!!

MoneyWalk 279: Gift Giving

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

It is good from time to time to give to others as a way of showing that you appreciate them and that God loves them. In doing so you are imitating your heavenly Father and opening pathways to positively touch their lives and lead them to and strengthen them in the faith. However, many people never craft a plan to set aside funds and allocate spending for such gifting (including birthday, holidays, and anniversaries) among their family members, friends, and others. It is best that you do, so that emotions caused by commercialization and culture do not send you on a spending spree you cannot afford. Otherwise, mismanagement of your income and assets and mounting debt will make you regret it.

Family members in their right minds, true friends, and good people accept you regardless of the size of your wallet. They don't get mad at you because the card or gift you gave them wasn't at a certain expense level. In fact, they love family members and friend’s fellowship and conversation so much that they could care less whether or not they receive gifts from them while appreciating meaningful gifts they receive from time to time.

Decide in your heart and mind that the thought is what counts and spend only what you have available in cash after tithes and offerings are given, all other bills are paid, and money is set aside for savings and investment. Craft an annual gifting budget that identifies available cash and allocates it for all the people for whom you want to buy cards or gifts. You may find that you're unable to purchase a gift for every loved one or that it is unreasonable for you to spend the amounts you have spent in previous years because you are currently deep in debt or have other financial goals that need more of your disposable income. In that case, decide which ones will get cards versus gifts and shop at discount stores that provide nice cards and gifts and consider meaningful homemade items and services. As a result of proper money management, you will soon create disposable income pathways that allow spontaneous giving in situations you did not foresee.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May God bless you richly as you follow His plan!!!

MoneyWalk 278: The Truly Wealthy Thank God

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Believers can call those things that be not as though they are because every substance on earth came from spiritual matter the natural eye cannot see. True faith recognizes that vision, initiatives, project outcomes, future material and technological tools inspired by the LORD are real even though human eyes cannot currently see them. Therefore, thank God every day for His promise that when you pursue what He shows you and give abundantly to bring it to pass He will cause people and earthly and heavenly economies to give abundantly to you to help you bring His plan to pass.

Even unbelievers that make great discoveries, uncover useful knowledge, and produce great technologies operate from this heavenly system, but often don’t know it or want to recognize it. It’s a shame that if they remain unrepentant giving thanks for success to everything but the LORD, they will suffer the sorrows of eternal damnation originally designed only for the devil and fallen angels.

In light of the blessing of God upon believers in Jesus Christ as those who will pursue His vision and seek to tithe, give, and do good works that open the vast treasuries of His knowledge to help mankind draw closer to Him and care for one another’s needs while on earth, you must recognize that He rebukes the devourer for you, opens the windows of heaven over you, and produces true wealth in and through you to continue advancing Him and His kingdom. Thank Him for the past, present, and future and How He delivered you from bondage to sin, continues to mature you in His way of living, and greatly uses you to lead unbelievers to Christ and disciple them.

Negativity and complaints about your situation will close the windows of Heaven over you and lead you to mediocrity in serving Him and giving to support ministry work through your local church. However, continual giving of thanks in recognition of the blessings He’s poured on your life will lead you to serve Him and others with fervency and manage the money He entrusts to you according to biblical principles so you’re able to abundantly support your family, local church, and other worthwhile ministries.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May God bless you richly as you follow His plan!!!

MoneyWalk 276: Retirement Is Refirement For Greater Works

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

You are free to retire from your current employment, however a disciple of Christ always has work to do that helps evangelize the world and make disciples of men inside and outside of the secular workplace. Total abstinence from work is not God’s plan for anyone nor healthy for your body. Though you may take a short period of rest to replenish, the LORD definitely has work for you to do in and outside of usual Church activities. You will find that some of these activities will allow you to use your skills and gifting in a way that produce income that helps you fund the kingdom and build wealth when properly managed.

Understand that work performed before and after retirement from your current occupation must meet the same parameter in order to be pleasing to the LORD; it is in a legitimate, non-sinful venue that is helpful to others. This comes in many different forms such as work you are paid to do (sometimes extraordinarily) to volunteer work done for your church, charity, or organizations. Sometimes, it is work many people refuse to recognize like interceding in order that a pathway for the will of God will be open for the church, the world, and other people’s lives. Many people do not understand that this work is as useful and necessary as other legitimate types of work and that some are called by God to this work and will be handsomely compensated for it by Him and leaders that understand His will and its great usefulness.

When you seek to please Him more than to please men He highly favors you and looks upon your good work produced by faith in legitimate venues. No doubt He’s glad when your work pleases your superiors and helps other people. This does not change after you retire from your current occupation. It continues into future avenues for your good works to be employed. In other words retirement for a Christian is really refirement for the display of your gifts and skills in another earthly arena that you will use to support the Great Commission, directly by the service to others engaged by the work or indirectly by giving abundantly of the income produced by the work.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May God bless you richly as you follow His plan!!!

MoneyWalk 277: Paying Tax Is Not Immoral

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

God designed government and knew that it would require its citizens and others connected to it to pay for the services it should provide. Jesus Christ said to give to Caesar that which is Caesar’s; that which is within the authority of the government to require of you. God enables you to pay your taxes while also taking care of your family and church responsibilities.

When necessary, He'll miraculously provide the means to pay your taxes, just like He used a fish to pay Jesus’ taxes. Now that you understand being a good steward of the money God entrusts to you requires that you pay all taxes required of you, feel free to use all legal means available to minimize taxes. Also, lobby local, state, and federal elected officials to encourage them to enact lower tax rates for the reason that over-taxation places a burden upon citizens that eventually causes governments to fail then fall.

Don’t claim that your allegiance to God is the reason you don't pay taxes, rather let your honor for God and the civic institutions He established move you to pay all taxes you lawfully owe. You do not have to agree with everything they do, or like any of the representatives, and your belief that they are too big with too many programs may be true. Make these things matters of prayer, civil dialogue, and righteous lobbying activity while understanding that refusing to honor this principle of paying taxes to the governments with authority over you when you are able is refusing to obey and honor the LORD. A disobedient, dishonorable attitude will cause you to miss out on many spiritual and financial rewards throughout life until you commit to follow God's principles.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May God bless you richly as you follow His plan!!!
