Don’t exalt yourself, not even to powerbrokers, lest they debase you. Rather, display Christ-like integrity & character. Then, others will speak well of you, enjoy your company, & invite you to higher level endeavors.

So you are not shamed due to faulty assumptions & lack of proof, do not hastily judge a matter or declare a grievance; first hear the person’s point of view & seek reasonable resolution when possible.

MoneyWalk 98 Don’t Be A Stumbling Block!

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Periodically evaluate whether you are a good example to other people based upon scriptural standards for conduct, lifestyle, relationships, and stewardship of money and resources because it helps you determine whether you are operating prudently and thus helping others see the light. You should never want to be a stumbling block to people via irresponsible or undisciplined financial focus, nor should you have materialistic or greedy attitudes and behaviors because they do not reflect the Christ-like character scripture instructs us to nourish throughout our lives.

When you manage money and obtain wealth outside of biblical principles, you're leading others onto the broad path that leads to destruction on earth and, if not repented of, throughout eternity. You can avoid being a stumbling block by learning and consistently using biblical principles such as:

·       Refusing to speak negatively about your current financial situation and possessions while thanking the LORD for increase that is coming, as you employ good bible-based stewardship techniques like budgeting income and expenses, establishing an emergency fund, eliminating debt, refusing cosigning, saving, investing, and diversifying assets as you build wealth.

·       Believing that God will lead you into The Wealthy Place to fulfill the marketplace ministry for which He made you.

·       Writing the vision and goals that will help you pursue His plan.

You will glorify the LORD and be a great example when, as part of your budget, you regularly tithe and give abundantly to at least your local church from whom you get spiritually fed and nourished and trained to serve the needs of others in the church and community. Writing a monthly budget to tell income where to go instead of continuing to spend spontaneously on things that keep you broke and make you wonder where it went will help you build your financial house in a way that satan cannot come and blow it down thus wrecking your ability to sow into the things of God and reap rewards thereof.

Jesus pronounced great wrath toward anyone who causes other people to sin or stumble off His path and scriptures clearly tell you not to be a stumbling block that keeps others away from the fullness of fellowship and service inherent in relationship with Him.
