track record of providing quality insight, products, or services to help you prosper
and appropriately do the work to which the LORD called you. Your patronage
allows you to pay and bless others with specific skill sets (carpentry,
farming, financial services, counseling, garbage collection, etc.), so they
can meet their family’s financial needs and His calling for their lives. It
also allows you an in-road to be a witness who leads others to Jesus Christ
when they do not know Him and encouraging those who know Him in their faith

MoneyWalk 144 The Right Spirit
This program will help you undo financial bondage.
The Lord
does not want people broke, busted, and disgusted. He desires to reward them according
to His riches in glory so they have everything they and the church need to show
others His glory, lead many into the Kingdom, and teach them to obey His
commands while they mature as disciples.
Showing
people expensive houses, cars, clothing, and jewelry does not equate to showing
His glory. Putting an emphasis on being enabled to obtain expensive material
things as a reason why others should get saved or cherish salvation takes away
from the gospel message that Jesus Christ is the prize. Now to be sure, one
will not dishonor Him by having such things when one is not in financial
bondage and properly handles his / her calling and assignments.
Employ good stewardship
on the spiritual side of things via worship, thanksgiving, praise, prayer, bible-based
declarations, bible study, fellowship with the saints, and service to others.
Also, recognize there are natural actions that should accompany the financial
aspect of good stewardship, like tithing, offering, keeping your expenses well
below your income, saving money, eliminating debt, refusing surety, investing,
and diversifying assets.
Many become rich while
not aiming for that goal, because they engage these practices. This is often a
natural progression of good financial stewardship. They don’t need to be expert
investors or take unreasonable risk. They simply need to be consistent in these
practices that allow supernatural increase to flow in their lives, increasing
discretionary cash flow, a portion of which will be invested on a long-term basis
in arenas with great track records of producing great growth. No-load
low-expense index mutual funds fit the bill (i.e., S&P 500, total stock
market, real estate, etc.). Exponential growth will propel you to the
wealthy place.
While this process is
not rocket science, most people never experience such wealth because they never
engage good stewardship that allows them funds to invest. Don’t let poor habits
or fear be detrimental to your financial well-being. Engage these practices to
help you build wealth that serves the Kingdom of God, you, your family, and
others throughout and beyond your years on earth.

God's
financial plan works much different than what your human mind usually thinks.
Without revelation from the Holy Spirit people are unable to understand the way
biblical instructions, when used, lead to the best earthly and eternal outcome
for their lives. Instead of realizing the all-encompassing wisdom that comes
from obeying them, you’ll think just like the world and say His instructions
are crazy, do not produce successful results, take too long to produce results,
or cannot result in worthwhile achievements and good times for you or your
family.
Would you
raise your staff expecting it would part a sea so you could walk across on dry
land? Would you submerge a sacrifice in water expecting it would still be lit
and consumed by fire? Would you put flour in a pot of poisoned stew believing
it would then be safe for other people to eat? Would you tell wedding
attendants to put water in barrels believing it would turn into wine? If you
heard the voice of the Lord giving those instructions, I hope you would obey.
However, most people probably wouldn’t. We need to pursue greater intimacy with
Him through worship and prayer. This increases our understanding of scripture
and helps us hear better, so we can be obedient to His instructions including
those related to finances. Some bible instructions seem crazy to the carnal
mind, like setting your heart to tithe and give abundantly no matter your
current financial condition. It seems even more outrageous to give to your
church and other ministry endeavors, when debt is choking you. Yet, obedience
to follow them work peace, joy, and abundance in your life for His glory.
The bible
contains verse after verse instructing you to give abundantly with the promise
that you’ll receive abundantly. You are in spiritual bondage when you do not
obey biblical instruction. It could be poverty or worshipping money entrusted
to your care. Relationship with God, is displayed by living in His principles.
It eliminates bondage and places the priority of your life, beliefs, and
actions firmly on Him and His will.
As you show
commitment to obeying His instructions, your good stewardship will mature and
your life and ministry will be augmented and enhanced via supernatural
provision. He will bring it in many different ways such as bargains, help from
other people, raises, promotions, business opportunities, etc. Make sure looking
out only for yourself is not the priority of your life, otherwise you will
never be truly fulfilled or accomplish His purpose for your life. Rather, be a
doer of the word and giver who supports gospel ministry that serves others.
Then, you’ll be fulfilled and abundantly rewarded.
