Mike Winter shares with us his decades of experience encouraging and
facilitating disciple-making in the marketplace.
Mike has been
married to his wife, Kim, for over 30 years. They are the parents of ten
children, ages 12 to 30, who currently claim to be walking in a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ. Mike and Kim also enjoy eight grandchildren but
are confident their children can and will produce more!
Mike met his
wife while attending Hope College, where he received Jesus as his Savior and
subsequently earned his BA in Religion. Using his degree, Mike served two years
as an associate pastor before ‘retiring.’ Mike then worked for ten years in the
insurance industry, beginning as a sales representative before transitioning to
corporate, where he worked in marketing management.
After leaving
the temporary insurance industry, Mike joined CBMC, Christian Business Men’s
Connection, in 1997 as the area director for Central Michigan. Mike has
been on staff now with CBMC for more than twenty-five years.
As usual, our
meeting will be held in the Fireside Room at Mt. Hope Church. Enter at the Spyn
entrance on the north side of the building. A continental breakfast will be
served.
Atalie Buycks, proprietor
of Thriftique ( https://www.instagram.com/thriftique_posts/?hl=en
), which sells gently-used clothing, home furnishings, etc., will also share a 10-minute
Business Showcase Testimony.
