MoneyWalk 180 Why You Need To Budget

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

A budget is a projection of future income and expenses you expect for your household over a specified period of time. It’s almost impossible to use income God blessed you with in the best possible manner without keeping an updated three to six-month budget on computer or paper. Very few people have photographic memories in which they can keep in their heads accurate detail of income and expenses!

Budgeting to produce surplus money to eliminate debt and build savings and investments will help you be a good steward of income God entrusts to you. A budget’s purpose is to bring structure to spending income, identifying future expenses, and helping reach short and long-term goals. By doing so you will:

·        Better understand your present financial condition.

·        Better understand the debt-laden mess you created in the past.

·        Identify areas of wasteful spending.

·        Identify the need to reduce expenses or earn additional income.

·        Plan better to overcome periods when expenses exceed income.

·        Make better financial decisions to meet future goals.

·        Produce peace and thus joy in your life.

Amazing success will accompany the organization of your income and expenses and related paperwork. This engages a spiritual, principled, methodical process proven to put you in sound financial shape when adhered to. It helps you prioritize and always remember to honor God through tithes and offerings, incremental debt reduction, eventual total debt elimination, ever increasing asset building through saving, exponential long-term growth via investing, and the ability to adequately respond to future emergencies.

Let this process work for you so you truly can be a wise man that builds a treasury while taking care of all your current God-given responsibilities instead of being the fool who spends everything he gets and thus has only poverty and a curse in life while on earth. Remember, there is much treasure in the ground of the poor man, but it is wasted for lack of judgment. You don’t have to be poor, nor do you want to lack judgment. Budgeting helps you be all the Lord called you to be and do all He called you to do. So, engage it now for the great benefits it will bring into your life.

The book at the link below provides principles and practical steps that help you use the Power To Get Wealth. By 1992, we had $135,000 of debt and a negative $35,000 net worth. Financial bondage and turmoil led me to seek principles and a process for employing good stewardship. As a result, we became constructively debt-free in 1998, mortgage free January 2004, millionaires in 2012, multi-millionaires shortly thereafter, and retired in 2018 in my mid-fifties from public servant jobs while giving abundantly to fund the gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ. The same power is available to you!
