MoneyWalk 230 Diversify

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Do not put all of your eggs in one basket or else dropping the basket may cause most if not all of your eggs to be broken. However, if you place the eggs in several different baskets while transporting them, the odds are much greater that most of the eggs will survive and be useable in the future.
The same is true when it comes to investing, however many people do indeed put all their eggs in one basket. They have not considered the loss that will occur if the one company they have used were to become bankrupt or begin to swindle investors. Their whole life savings could be lost.
Even if you only invest in government guaranteed instruments like Certificates of Deposit and treasury bills, it’s a good practice to divide your money up and invest it with seven or eight different financial institutions. This protects you in case of late claim payments by an account guarantor and it enables you to have some money at your disposal if one of your investments were to become worthless.
In workplace retirement plans you can start off with great diversification that fit biblical principles by investing in no-load low-expense stock index mutual funds or ETF’s. If you’re not able to start with great diversification, then as your wealth grows over time to tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands of dollars, separate portions into different investment vehicles with historical long-term growth records using several different financial institutions (banks, brokerage houses, real estate, etc.).
Don’t let the enemy and his cohorts Made-off with all your money! You will find blessing and rewards overtaking you when you adhere to the biblical principle based on diversification and safety in godly guidance from several counselors. When used for investments this principle helps you overcome troubles that rear their heads in your life, and for which, by the grace of God, money can help resolve. Diversification is the key to not putting in jeopardy money God entrusts to you.

The book at the link below provides principles and practical steps that help you use the Power To Get Wealth. By 1992, we had $135,000 of debt and a negative $35,000 net worth. Financial bondage and turmoil led me to seek principles and a process for employing good stewardship. As a result, we became constructively debt-free in 1998, mortgage free January 2004, millionaires in 2012, multi-millionaires shortly thereafter, and retired in 2018 in my mid-fifties from public servant jobs while giving abundantly to fund the gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ. The same power is available to you!
