This program will help you undo financial bondage.
Most people think their worth is based on how much money
and things they possess. However, you true worth isn’t based on these things. The
fact that the Lord created all mankind as people He wants to draw close to Him throughout
eternity means they and you have inestimable worth.
The
ideology of net worth only speaks to an earthly financial condition that can
identify level of stewardship one displays on earth and may explain whether one
lives in financial bondage or has a level of financial wherewithal beyond
meeting basic life needs. God is for you achieving financial freedom and
building wealth and has given you instructions / principles to lead you there.
It's important to understand that some of the men and women of honor spoken of
in scripture (who drew near to Him and displayed His heart in service to Him
and others) had great material riches on earth. The LORD will allow you to
have a level of material wealth also, but more importantly He wants you to draw
close to Him. Biblical instructions and the stories of the saints show a clear
picture that we should seek the Lord our Creator, through Jesus Christ, more
than the things He created.
Do
not layup treasures for yourself on earth that lead to corruption, decay, and robbery.
Rather, layup for yourself treasures in Heaven that cannot be corrupted,
decayed, or stolen. This only happens via good stewardship including spending,
so you can (1) continually give abundantly for the spread of the gospel, (2)
properly take care of your family needs, and (3) be rich in good works that
serve other people. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
An intimate relationship with Jesus makes things He provides truly valuable because
you will use them for the right purpose.
So,
understand your true worth to the Lord while also employing good stewardship to
build your net worth. Then, you can live in financial freedom on earth and not
in the financial bondage satan wants to engulf your life. When these two come
together Christ’s love is shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit so you
can progressively care for all your family responsibilities on earth and give
more money and time in service to Kingdom aims, which entails the leading of
people to Him, to put faith in Him, so their souls can be saved in Him to gain
eternal life that bypasses the damnation otherwise deserved.
