This program will help you undo financial bondage.
More
people are being persuaded that great riches in this life is our heritage and that
we must obtain them by any means necessary. Some say it’s necessary that we
become rich in order for the gospel to be preached throughout the earth and for
people to be made into disciples. Certainly, He desires that we be blessed and
rewarded for choosing to love and follow Him, obey His commands to love others,
be good stewards of money and resources He provides, and by faith put our hands
to good works that are fruitful and please Him. However, let’s be clear, the
power to draw people to Christ and transform them is contained in the gospel
not in money or the amount thereof a person or local church has available for
use.
Regardless
of economic situations of nations or individuals, the gospel has always been
preached since Jesus’ resurrection 2,000 years ago, without specific amounts or
measurements of money, and disciples have greatly increased to the tune of
billions today. Thus, no matter our current financial status we should always
seek to share the gospel with others because His love is shed abroad in our
hearts by the Holy Ghost producing hope of eternal life and faith for
fulfilling His purpose in this life.
When
we understand this godly pattern, we follow the path of giving and principled
living that shows what we really believe and that produces blessing and reward
in our lives. A few questions you should periodically ask are:
*Do
my communication, lifestyle, and checkbook progressively show I love the Lord
more than anyone and anything else?
*Are
my lifestyle and financial stewardship pleasing to the LORD, in line with bible
principles and the Holy Spirit’s guidance?
*Do I
spend adequate time each day and week reading the bible, praying,
fellowshipping with the Church, and serving thus refusing to allow money-making
and pleasure-seeking endeavors to drown out intimate prayer and meditation time
with the LORD?
*Do I
seek to serve and endear others to Christ, thus refusing to display a selfish
mentality by seeking only my own betterment and pleasure?
The
Lord owns everything including money. In His omnipotence, He allows you to
expand income and assets. For a believer, faithful work and wealth building in
the marketplace is within the realm of worshipping Him when done in proper
moral context and spiritual balance. Therefore, you should pursue opportunities
that allow you to do more and provide more money and resources for ministry
that serves other people. Yet, you should never have a mindset of earning
higher income or building wealth “by any means necessary.” Such thinking is a
love of money trap that satan uses to ensnare you. When engaged it leads to
destruction and spiritual death.
Endeavor
to live in a way where you can answer YES to the above questions. This will
help you live, give, and pursue money-making endeavors that please the Lord,
produce greater harvests (including income and assets), and allow you to
build wealth throughout your life. In essence, the love He shed abroad in your
heart dictates that you should follow His plan for good stewardship because
it’s best for you and for everyone else He called you to serve.

6:10-12

The
book at the link below provides principles and practical steps that help you
use the Power to Get Wealth. By 1992, we had $135,000 of debt and
a negative $35,000 net worth. Financial bondage and turmoil led me to seek
principles and a process for employing good stewardship. As a result, we became
constructively debt-free in 1998, mortgage free January 2004, millionaires in
2012, multi-millionaires shortly thereafter, and retired in 2018 in my
mid-fifties from public servant jobs while giving abundantly to fund the gospel
of our LORD Jesus Christ. The same power is available to you!
