MoneyWalk 333 The Lord’s Plan For You

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Have you failed to live according to Christlikeness and biblical principles? If so, you’re undoubtedly feeling pain from the consequences thereof, including excessive bills and financial headaches. This could have been avoided by employing principles such as writing out the vision for your future along with steps you’d take to achieve it. This should include a budget for your finances identifying your income, giving, saving, investing, and expenses.

To identify the vision God has for your life and thus you should pursue, study the bible to learn The Great Commandment and The Great Commission that Jesus Christ instructed those who believe in Him to engage. Since all believers are members of His body, the Church, the commandment and commission lay the foundation for what you should incorporate into your life’s work while on the earth. Pray daily for Him to continually enlighten you about the specific path He wants you to follow. As you thank Him for His goodness to you, make sure you spend time each day worshipping & praising Him, even before the results of your planting and watering come to pass. He is sure to open doors and identify steps you should take and close doors and identify steps you should not take in pursuing your calling in life and the marketplace.

Everyone’s path is not full-time work for a Church or para-Church ministry. Know this, you’re already a full time worker for the Lord when you perform any legitimate, legal, ethical work in which you seek to do a good job, submit and obey authority within moral boundaries, and seek to let your communication and example be a witness of the change Jesus Christ makes in a committed believer’s life. Whether your path is homemaking, business, medicine, politics, child-care, garbage collection, etc., the vision for your life and business can and should line up under the commandment and commission He assigned to us.

Your work (as employee or business owner or both) should be a platform that helps build the kingdom of God by overtly or covertly leading those around you into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and making disciples of them. Good stewardship (management) of the work, relationships, and money that come into your life plays a vital role in your ability to positively affect others. When you don’t employ it, financial headaches will keep you focused on your needs instead of the need others have to meet Christ and mature in Him.

Second jobs and get rich quick schemes that result from you catering to ever-increasing indulgences that don’t reasonably fit within your income will keep you serving the enemy more than serving the Lord. In addition, you’ll not be a tither and abundant giver of money entrusted to you and thus you’ll play a much smaller role in leading people to Christ and making disciples of them than you play in catering to your material excesses.

No matter the position, power, titles, and fame you obtain on earth, you’ll always feel emptiness of purpose and fulfillment, until you learn to incorporate biblical principles into your work and business activities. That’s why budgeting, living within your means, eliminating debt, saving, investing, and abundant giving are principles you need to follow to make yourself available to serve God and uplift yourself and other people.

The book at the link below provides principles and practical steps that help you use the Power to Get Wealth. By 1992, we had $135,000 of debt and a negative $35,000 net worth. Financial bondage and turmoil led me to seek principles and a process for employing good stewardship. As a result, we became constructively debt-free in 1998, mortgage free January 2004, millionaires in 2012, multi-millionaires shortly thereafter, and retired in 2018 in my mid-fifties from public servant jobs while giving abundantly to fund the gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ. The same power is available to you!
