MoneyWalk 454: Forgiving helps you manage better

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

There are countless people I talk with who allow un-forgiveness to wreck their discipline. The consequences of un-forgiveness are that tormenters guide your actions (bad choices promoted by evil spiritual forces). Then, you seek revenge on others that consciously and unconsciously have you making bad decisions. Sometimes, you can’t forgive yourself for acts that you’ve done and you consciously or unconsciously make bad decisions. Both of these situations lead to overspending to either get back at someone or to try to appease the unpleasant feeling you have about what you or they have done to you.

Maybe a divorce is taking place and you don’t like that your spouse committed adultery, so you make the decision to spend whatever money you can get your hands on to try and take everything away from him/her instead of forgiving and settling the disagreement reasonably and amicably even when divorce proceedings occur.

Maybe you had an abortion sometime ago or had a baby out of wedlock and gave him/her up for adoption, so since that time you make decisions to spend money on every item you think you desire with the thought that it will appease that gut-wrenching feeling you’ve been having. Sometimes, overspending money has been an outright attempt to sabotage your life because you don’t believe you’re deserving of any blessings because of what you’ve done.

Forgiveness is the step you need to take to bring yourself to a place where you can be lead by the Holy Spirit. He will grow you by filling your heart and mind with God’s love for you regardless of your past sins or possible future blunders. Also, He will share how you now should walk to better your future and be a good steward. He does this through bible instruction, personal guidance, church fellowship, relationships with believers, and instruction from your pastor. In addition, He will fill you with power to do all this after you choose Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

This grace provides the foundation level of forgiveness you need. It also allows you to forgive yourself for your past, present, and future misdeeds. Also, it allows you to overcome all negative commentary from other people concerning your actions and their feelings about you and it simultaneously allows you to immediately forgive their trespasses against you. This forgiven condition of heart and mind allows you to move positively forward as a good steward of the manifold blessings of God. In addition, it reminds you that God’s blessings are available to you and are not based on your goodness or uprightness but rather on Christ’s unstained righteousness.

Now, you can be a person of discipline who can envision a blessed future, stop unwisely using debt instruments, budget your income and expenses to live within your means, and build future wealth for giving, saving, investing, and responsible spending.

Please pray for this ministry and email any questions. May God bless you richly as you follow His plan!!!
