Don't let the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life determine how you pursue and handle money because you will be led to destruction by the enemy when you have a mindset and actions that are constantly focused on obtaining material things instead of focusing on God’s will for your life and His call upon your life. Let biblical principles lead you to seek God first then follow His directions. You’ll build treasures in Heaven and reap rewards on Earth while fulfilling your purpose for being.
Your faith should result in greater maturity throughout your life showing that the foundation of your life and desires are increasingly different than people who have no allegiance to Jesus Christ. You’ll recognize that you’re a king and priest seated with Him in heavenly places high above any evil powers when you confess that He’s your Savior and LORD believing that His blood atoned for your sin while giving you eternal life and victory through His resurrection. Then, every treasure in Heaven is available for you fulfill the call for your life and help the church fulfill its mission.
As you help serve others in ministry and realize and activate in your life money management skills in line with biblical principles, blessings will flow down from Heaven to help fulfill your specific calling and take care of your earthly responsibilities. Biblical money management principles like tithing and debt-free living appear illogical and embarrassing in our culture and its current economic scene. Yet, His principles are the only ones that truly work to get you where you need to be: up and out of poverty and into prosperity.
