MoneyWalk 207 Never Oppress To Prosper

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

Most people would probably say they don’t oppress others. Yet, there are some who have authority over others who don’t recognize that they may be oppressing them in order to get more of what they want. Inventory your actions to ensure they support your claims. If you find you in any way oppress others, then make a change in order to please the King of kings who instructs us not to oppress others or be respecters of persons. Start by declaring that you will do the works of the Lord and do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This helps transform you by the renewing of your mind to rid you of actions to the contrary. Be sincere and desire change in the inner-man in whatever areas of your life the Holy Spirit convicts you of engaging beliefs, words, and actions unlike Jesus’ character.

A few commonly overlooked oppressive misdeeds:

·  Overworking people within your employ and not letting them have reasonable family leave time and time to care for other concerns.

·  Using people who are down-and-out to do things you need or want while talking to and treating them like dirt when you communicate and interact with them.

·  Failing to quickly pay those you employ whether in your business or for personal matters.

·  Using biased criteria and views of other people and cultures to determine who gets higher-level educational and /or promotional opportunities.

·  Rarely mingling with and building close relationships with people of other backgrounds and cultures.

When you display these and other oppressive characteristics it’s easy to be convinced that you are only measuring criteria necessary for being successful. However, the Lord knows when you are bogusly denying other people opportunities for relationship, work, and play that should be afforded to them. Certainly, you should use bible-based criteria as the measuring stick for getting to know other people and hanging out with them more intimately in business and personal settings.

Realize, your life of ministry requires you to be around people you might not otherwise choose to be around and help them in ways that goes against the grain of your culture, because you understand their souls are very important to the Lord and thus must be important to you. With this Christ-like belief and heart of love, go into all the world preaching the gospel and discipling other people and refusing to oppress others in any manner.

The book at the link below provides principles and practical steps that help you use the Power To Get Wealth. By 1992, we had $135,000 of debt and a negative $35,000 net worth. Financial bondage and turmoil led me to seek principles and a process for employing good stewardship. As a result, we became constructively debt-free in 1998, mortgage free January 2004, millionaires in 2012, multi-millionaires shortly thereafter, and retired in 2018 in my mid-fifties from public servant jobs while giving abundantly to fund the gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ. The same power is available to you!
