MoneyWalk 209 Wisdom Concerning Money

This program will help you undo financial bondage.

When you conform to worldly standards you will engage money management methods that displease God. Such methods hold back your full potential, yet many people use them because they are unaware of the harm they eventually cause. Worldly methods generally begin with spending all your income to purchase meaningless material things and borrowing as much as you can in order to partake of the American dream. Such methods continue via giving very little to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and failing to do good works by faith. In addition, they are usually augmented by failure to plan via budgeting income and expenses. You operate out of guesswork which gets you in trouble at various points in your life by forcing you to pay bills late and avoid creditors you owe.

This is selfish poor stewardship, whether acknowledged or not. Satan’s goal of deception is to help you achieve your dream throughout your life, so you never pursue and achieve God’s dream of spiritual abundance. Whereas Jesus Christ affirmed that He came to give you the abundant life that really matters. He is the wisest person to ever live who let us know the abundance of life doesn’t consist of things you possess. His word shows it’s best to avoid being a debtor and that you must give in support of ministry work in order to be truly, eternally blessed (which includes the measure of natural blessing God allows in your earthly life). Never complain when you’re asked to give to ministry to a greater degree than you have in the past. Simply, seek the Holy Spirit in your time of prayer to find out God’s will for your giving, then give as He instructs.

Scripture shows that a godly person plans the spending of his or her income and seeks to constantly know the exact state of his or her finances. When you do these things, you’re able to successfully live the life and ministry He planned for you, which includes glorifying God in every way possible while appropriately caring for immediate family, other people He assigned you to serve, and evangelizing & discipling other people in the marketplace of your life.

The book at the link below provides principles and practical steps that help you use the Power To Get Wealth. By 1992, we had $135,000 of debt and a negative $35,000 net worth. Financial bondage and turmoil led me to seek principles and a process for employing good stewardship. As a result, we became constructively debt-free in 1998, mortgage free January 2004, millionaires in 2012, multi-millionaires shortly thereafter, and retired in 2018 in my mid-fifties from public servant jobs while giving abundantly to fund the gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ. The same power is available to you!
